Dr D is well worth waiting for. With little thought and a mature attitude, you realize that he is a Surgeon who performs major surgeries weekly. Emergency s arise, the only sure thing is to expect the unexpected due to the delicate nature of his surgery's. I've been to another surgeon, rude, and a " greater than though attitude". Dr D is soft spoken, humble and explains everything in detail, before you even ask ! I'll wait an hour or two past by appointment because
I will get the same attention the person before me received.

Excellent Doctor , My mother in law did not speak English and he made her so so comfortable!! Highly recommended!

Went to Dr. D for evaluation for surgery for a chronic shoulder problem. On the 1st visit had to wait over 1hr to be seen. So, what's the point of making an appointment? OK, guess he's busy. 2nd visit waited over 45 minutes - inquired and ushered into exam room for another 15min. Sched surgery, staff called 3 times to re-schedule. I arrived at 1:30 for 4pm surgery. At 6:30pm told it would be another 1.5 hrs to start. I'm in the Med profession and was appalled by the flippant attitude of the Southside Hosp. OR staff as to their unprofessional attitude toward ALL the patients in the adjoining "cubicles" - especially the lack of information provided as what was going on. No, neither I, nor my "ride home" were being pests, there was just NO communication occurring - at all. Asked the staff what time Dr. D started that morning and was told 7:30am. So... he's already had a 12+ hr day BEFORE I would be cut? No thank you. Had the IV removed (the 2nd bag). I'm Done. Will find a new Doc/facility
