I dont understand some of these negative comments about Dr P.
He helped me get off the grog and helped me find what was more important.
No Dr can 'cure' your mental issues, you have got to want to too! Its not just up to the Dr to cure you! Youve got to want to help yourself too!
I self admitted myself into his hospital for three weeks.

I have put off seeing a Psychiatrist for over 20 years. He has been great in helping me and I now fell the best I have most of my adult life. He is quiet but once you get to know him he is great.

I’m am disappointed to see bad reviews of dr Ramjee after one appointment with him and am very surprised that people assume he doesn’t care or listen when he’s just a little quiet in his personality. I can give my honest opinion as I have been seeing him close to a decade. Dr Ramjee is a genuinely caring psychiatrist and he has been the only psychiatrist who has looked me in the eyes during complete times of despair and said “trust me , I am with you through this “. My life has drastically improved under his care. He validates my every concern and gives an honest opinion (Sometimes I don’t like everything I hear but he’s always right)and I trust that. I feel safe and know I’m in the very best hands. Dr Ramjee has gone beyond what is expected as his role For me and I appreciate it so much . He has exhausted every avenue to help me where others psychiatrists have said “there’s nothing else we can do” “or your never going to be like everyone else”. Dr Ramjee never gives up. Dr Ramjee also constantly does further studies and up skills making him a highly qualified psychiatrist. If u are lucky enough to come into dr Ramjee genuine care, then I believe the future looks bright.
Thank you so much , dr Ramjee for your dedication to me and all the others who suffer, you deserve a very big praise and I’m very grateful to be under your care.

I was extremely lucky to have been under the care of Dr Ramjee when I was in a very bad place in my life.
His knowledge and expertise has tuned my situation around and I could not be more thankful.

Doctor Ramjee, is so accomodating.
We all need to understand that doctor Ramjee would see a lot of mentally ill paitents, I have just seen him as a stable patient and he is very well and goes beyond and above for me to help with my Bipolar.

I feel so safe knowing that he can help me if my mental heath declines, Thankyou so much for all your work Dr Ramjee.

Would never see this Dr again. After a workplace injury I urgently needed to see someone for a second opinion after my mental health was declining. This guy did not listen to me and I felt completely brushed off. I explained my situation and his response was 'well your going to need to go back to work". Nearly 4 years on and I am still not fit to work. quickly wasted $580
Albury Wodonga is an absolute joke when it comes to Mental Health services.

I never fill these things out yet here I am.
After seeking a second opinion and a new psychiatrist I would NOT recommend Dr Ramjee.
When I sought out a second opinion I was treated by the new psychiatrist as a participant to my appointment, it was VERY thorough which made me feel confident that I was getting the right help for the right conditions. I had many tests pre appointment to rule out any issues that may effect treatments or provide insights into any health issues that may contribute. I was respected, given many opportunities to ask questions, my concerns were always important and never dismissed, I was offered full run downs and information sheets to any medication I was given and even asked if I was open to trying medication rather than told to just take it and basically shut up. I was provided feedback and insights to everything along the way. This was NOT the case with Dr Ramjee at all. Knowledge is power and not having any say or information in regards to my treatment was not helpful for me at all. I don’t doubt Dr Ramjee is a highly knowledgeable and qualified specialist however if any of the above are important to you go elsewhere.

Wouldn’t recommend him to anyone with a mental illness. Didn’t listen and he had an attitude that he didn’t care. Go somewhere else. Don’t waste your money because he sure knows how to charge for nothing in return for Patient care.

I paid so much to be practically ignored. He didn't listen and instead just kept going on about something unrelated. If he had just listened to my whole story he wouldn't make assumptions in the first place.

Cost me $580 for him to not listen to my concerns. He was only interested in what he wanted to talk about and didn’t give me a chance.
I found him very rude and wouldn’t bother recommending him to anyone with a mental illness. He is out of touch and doesn’t seem to care about Patients wellbeing.
