Better late than never. Delivered my baby on May 2023 and still I say today, I thank God for helping me find a wonderful doctor which is Dr Sikakane. With my complicated situation, i could've been stressed on that day but hey she made that stress go away. She's the best gynae I've met looking at where i began

She delivered both my kids what a lovely soul! Every consultation felt more like a mother educating me. I recovered quickly on both c sections and she cut me properly and my scar looks good! I would recommend her anytime!

Dr Sikakane is heaven sent, she handled both my pregnancies with ease, she is gentle and kind and would recommend any day!!!! She’s truly an amazing doctor and strives to do what’s best for the baby and mom.

This is a doctor who is only after money, doesnt do her job thoroughly and doesn't care!!! RUN AWAY!!!!
I saw the Dr at Genesis. At my 36 week appointment she was almost 2 hours late and I'm that appointment she said that my child went from being big to small (which should have been a red flag for any knowledgeable gynae). My baby proceeded to pass away as a result thereof without her picking anything up or doing any follow-up checks as a result of that statement because she was in such a rush yet she spoke toe about contraceptives!!!!!
After my child's passing we went to see her for test results, her receptionist said the appointment would be R400to R600. After the consultation, where she basically admitted to not read the forms she was completing and not know hospital procedures (meaning she didn't do all the requested tests) ahe said that since she has my medical aid details they will deduct the consultation fee from that, I agreed. A few days later when receiving my medical statement she had deducted three times more than what the receptionist told me!!! After numerous phone calls I was told it's because it was a long consultation - if she had done her job in the first place ce it wouldn't have been spent withe her apologizing for her incompetence!!!! The finance lady, who is independent and such a saving grace (hence the two stars) eventually reversed it to be only R600.
Had she taken extra due care at my appointment I believe my child would be alive after seeing any other specialists they have said that in 2021 no full term baby should have died like mine.
Worst doctor ever and I see that not the only one.!!

I absoloutely have no words for what has happended to me. I was suppose to be 9 weeks pregnant and became so severely ill with Vomiting and Nausea over the last 3weeks, being admitted and re-admitted 3 times over the 3 week period, I eventually got a 2nd opinion and it turns out my baby had died at 6 weeks and for those 3 weeks I because very ill, not once did the doctor pick up that my baby had died. This was the worst experience of my life!
