I had and implant and sinus lift done at Oxford OMS Centre because I had almost no bone left after having my molar tooth out 7 years ago. My dentist felt that I needed grafting before I could get the implant crown. My experience with Dr. Morrison and all of his staff members was top of the line the whole way through. Dr. Morrison was attentive to my progress after surgery and made me feel very cared for. I now have the crown on the implant after having my dentist perform that part of it, and I am very happy with the result.

The office at Oxford OMS is efficient and great at what they do. Every individual working there is enthusiastic and eager to help. I would recommend Oxford OMS to anyone who needs dental surgery.

Both of my children had their wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Morrison at Oxford OMS and the care was exceptional. I’ll be returning to Oxford OMS if I personally need any oral surgery work done.

The receptionists, dental assistants and nurses were so pleasant and knowledgeable. I felt that Dr. Morrison and the other team members developed a great rapport with me, which made me feel comfortable and confident in them. They followed through with skilled work which was not surprising. Definitely a 5 out of 5 experience.

Biography

Dr. Morrison completed an undergraduate degree and Master of Science degree at Queen’s University before proceeding to the prestigious McGill University for his Doctor of Dental Medicine, or Dentariae Medicinae Doctoris (DMD), degree. After dental school, he was one of six selected to complete a one-year hospital-based dental residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital/University of Toronto. He was then chosen as the one resident annually accepted into the illustrious oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS) program at London Health Sciences Centre/University of Western Ontario. During his six-years of surgical residency, Dr. Morrison concurrently obtained a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and another Master of Science degree. Throughout his training, Dr. Morrison was bestowed with numerous scholarships, research grants and awards based on his academic achievements and research efforts. He is now in private practice as a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and works part-time as an adjunct clinical professor at the University of Western Ontario. Dr. Morrison’s areas of expertise include dental implant surgery, wisdom tooth extractions, dentoalveolar bone grafting, maxillary sinus augmentation, soft tissue grafting around dental implants, management of oral and maxillofacial pathology, and the provision of deep sedation/general anesthesia. When not working, Dr. Morrison enjoys playing a variety of sports, walking his dog, Leo, and spending time with his beautiful fiancée, Natasha.
