We have completed 100 private consultations, not including telehealth or other in admission meetings.

I am personally appreciative, privileged and thankful for every single opportunity I have experienced within every interaction.

So many thanks to consistently providing a safe, confidential and supportive environment where I have learnt to express without judgement.

The journey continues, however I feel much more secure in the driving seat of my life than I did 100 sessions ago!

My recovery is defined by our collaboration, respect and trust, therefore I look forward to continuing toward further improved mental health.

Thankyou Dr Chadwick, Sarah and Lorriane!

More than 5 years of collaboration, assistance and support. Without the patience, consistency and continuous contact, life would be intolerable. Within our time we have worked through many issues and experienced a range of ups and downs. Dr Chadwick is extremely insightful and highly trained in communicating and listening to those with severe mental health issues. Through any emotion, he remains calm, empathetic and compassionate, even if the cause is unknown. In the last year especially, I have seen some major and minor changes within myself, my perception of others and emotional regulation. This has been a direct result of consistent treatment with this psychiatrist. Every decision is made in collaboration and consultation between us. He listens to everything, even when I think he has not heard me...
My psychiatrist has been a driving force for psychological development, change and motivation towards optimism!
Highly recommended this doctor to that person who doesn't particularly like doctors.
Thankyou Dr Chadwick!

Definitely requires a review of capabilities by WA Health. Does not deliver on promises or follow up and appropriate care, fails to respond to patent calls and requests for assistance and most concerning creates unnecessary anxiety and worry.

Dr Chadwick has changed my life unrecognisably for the better. Have been seeing him for a few years and now and I still look forward to every appointment. Dr Chadwick is a very professional and kind person, who put me on the exact right medication for me from day 1 and I’ve never looked back. Thanks, Dr Chadwick, I am so appreciative of your work!

Nice guy, but that’s not what I’m paying for. Waste of time and money. After 3yrs he still wasn’t able to stabilise me, but kept telling me how frustrated it made him feel. Well imagine how frustrated it made me feel. When I had a serious situation and wrote to him for assistance and contacted his office to follow up on the situation no one to this day has bothered to contact me. Zero duty of care.

Leighton has been my psychiatrist for 2 years. I’m 50, I’ve seen at least 8 psychiatrists in my life, and he’s the first person who’s actually been able to keep me grounded, and diagnose my bipolar disorder and given me the tools to manage it. He’s very knowledgeable, he has very good professional rapport. He doesn’t just give you a prescription, he actually understands and talks to you.

Leighton has been my psychiatrist for just over 5 years. I began seeing him at age 21 after I had seen 4 other psychiatrists (since I was 13 years old). He is certainly the best psychiatrist I have had experience with and I have no intention of ever seeing anyone else.
I am relatively familiar with the medical industry (I study psychology, my father is a doctor & my mother is a midwife) so I have a clear understanding of what is reasonable to expect as a patient. Generally speaking, Leighton exceeds these expectations.
While he always remains professional, I find him very easy to get along with and more personable than other doctors. He allows me to express my opinion (as well as the opinions of my family & other doctors I see) and is genuinely open to my ideas. He explains and discusses my treatment options, and has even compromised when I have felt especially strong about particular issues.
I would highly recommend him for anyone either with or querying whether they have Borderline Personality Disorder and/or Bi-Polar Disorder.
Thank you Leighton - Please never retire!
