After being misdiagnosed several times I am glad to say I am no longer a victim of this doctor. At my last appointment I was left alone on a room for over 1 hour and 20 minutes. I let her know that was not ok. What if I would have passed out in that time or worse. When I expressed my frustration she told me I must have mental health issues if that made me frustrated. She supports a nurse Krista who was found guilty of 5 counts of professional misconduct after I reported her wrong doings. Guess someone saw the issues at this office as more than just me being supposedly mentally ill. Katie has now become increasingly obsessed with me and has targeted my daughter asking inappropriate unhealth related questions, hoping to get information about me and my personal life. I believe she is unwell. Fueled with high school jealousy, it won't be long before others see her true colors she thinks she hides so well. I highly recommend getting second opinions or avoiding her completely. She misdiagnosed me and igno serious autoimmune disease for years. Thank God her gas lighting me promted me to see another doctor who referred me to a specialists. The specialist through her head back and laughed at Katie's diagnosis which I did not find funny at the time. She is rude, and unprofessional. Not surprised her staff mirror her poor character but are also incompetent. They can't read notes, mix up names, can't use the computers at times for simple things like booking appointments and sending faxes. I'm sure things will continue to decline and more people like me will come forward. I feel especially bad for her patients with no medical background who will be easily blinded by lack of education and think she is helping anyone but herself.

This doctor is very quick to have preconceived notions about people. She is most certainly not trauma informed. The problem was not all in my head like she believed it was. Had to seek care outside of Sudbury because of her poisoning my referrals within the community’s doctor. Once assessed out Sudbury, I needed major surgery. Your bias nearly killed me. If you don’t feel heard move on she’s not interested in your care. Dr Kauffeldt remember, do no harm.

I’ve been seeing Dr Kauffeldt since she first became a doctor. I have to say she has always been professional. There have been things that she didn’t know, but was smart enough to acknowledge she needed time to research.
Yes she’s difficult to see. It’s Sudbury. We have an extreme shortage of doctors. Yes she practices elsewhere. She gives her time to other areas that are short doctors as well.
Nothing but praise for her and the staff.

I would like to thank you for the sympathy card you sent me in regards to my mother's passing. I have never received one of these cards from any Dr. in the past. You are so thoughtful and truly an amazing Dr. You are very kind , loving & caring. You always go above and beyond. I think you are truly amazing. I feel very lucky that you are my Doctor. Terrible staff, they leave you on hold, takes forever to get an appointment, and she is not very accomodating when you do get to see her. By that time, you're not sick! Staff put you on hold for 25 minutes and then cut you off! Not impressed at all! Dr is always away, or working for other Doctors in hospital or other clinics!

Dr. Kauffeldt is an amazing Dr. She always goes above and beyond. She takes the time to get to know you. She always put your needs first. She is loving and caring. she is a great Dr.

worse doctor i ever had. months to get appt. She doesnt listen to your concerns. she spends more time at other clinics and places than she does at her office. if you have pain, forget about it, she wont help you. if you have sinus or chest infection, good luck getting antibiotics. after 4yrs with her, i dont think she knows a single thing about me. im beyond frustrated.

I met Dr kauffeldt on the palliative floor she was so professional empathetic caring to my mothers needs and care. When she said she was going to be there she was when she said she was going to do a follow up she did and she made sure to ask if it was done . Dr Kauffeldt took the time to answer all our questions I have no doubt in my mind my mother is in the best hands of care ... Thank you Dr Kauffelt you are one in a million don`t loose your passion. Fantastic Physician .... your hug meant the world to me ...

Dr. Kauffeldt is amazing. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She is kind and friendly and makes you feel at ease. She will make sure kids are seen promptly and makes them feel comfortable. She has helped me through a lot I've never had a better doctor.
