High energy and incredibly enthusiastic doctor. His staff is exactly the same way. In addition, the care I received was incredible. This is how a doctor's office is supposed to be run!!

Dr. Flicker performed my cataract surgery and the procedure went smoothly with the doctor and the staff keeping me informed throughout the process. The staff receives four stars instead of five because of the difficulty I encountered several years ago when, at my primary physician's suggestion, I tried to make an appointment with Dr. Flicker. Several times I was switched to another doctor in the practice. The results were all right, but the answers to my concerns were cursory and I didn't get thorough explanations until I insisted on seeing Dr. F. and not a substitute. I highly recommend Dr. Flicker.

Dr. Flicker has been my family & my eye doctor for as long as I can remember. He is incredibly kind & compassionate, and he is genuinely interested in the well-being of all of his patients. I recently had Dr. Flicker perform my laser eye surgery. I was incredibly nervous going in, but he explained the whole procedure to me, and during the procedure, he talked to me the whole time so I knew exactly where we were in the procedure. He did so well in the laser surgery that I did not experience any discomfort or pain at all, not even immediately after the procedure!
He saw me immediately the following day to make sure everything was going smoothly, and even scheduled two additional consults to check-in on me during the first two weeks post-op. This is the first time I've ever been able to see anything without glasses on, and the best part about Dr. Flicker is he was GENUINELY happy to share in my excitement with me! He's the man!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Flicker for years. His staff at South Shore Eye Care has supported his proactive and attentive professional medical guidelines in support of providing me and other patients with the best care possible. Within the last month Dr. Flicker and his surgical team performed cataract laser eye surgery on both of my eyes. Each eye is performing just as Dr. Flicker told me they would. It is a pleasure to once again be able to read and walk through life without glasses which needed constant annual lens improvement. Dr. Flicker takes pride in his abilities and it is exhibited in his positive and honest bedside discussions with me.

Dr. Flicker is the best of the best ! He performed cataract (laser) with lens implant on both eyes.
It’s as if the lights were tuned on. I trusted and liked Dr. Flicker from the very first appointment. He was and remains kind, compassionate and so very skilled as a surgeon. I’m so fortunate to have gone to him. The surgery both times went great ! I have since seen Dr. Flicker several times
post-op. He is a gentleman and deeply concerned with me and his patients outcomes.

Dr Flicker performed my recent cataract surgery, everything went great, he was extremely thorough & professional. He answered all my questions and provided excellent after care. I'm not hesitating to have him operate on my other eye knowing I'm in good hands.
