I had back surgery by Gordon in 2011,L4-5-S1 fusion, what a marvelous surgeon you are, this year l started to ride a bicycle again or be it an ebike, the first time in 55 years, so thank you very much for the care and your staff showed me, l will be forever thankful to you all.

I met Dr G. Howie in 1998 when my daughter was 4 years of age and married at the time to my first husband. I have Spinal Stenosis as I am a LP (Little Person) He worked on my L1-L5, 7/10/98 and have never looked back. He is a brilliant surgeon and I can't thank him enough in doing this for me.

Dr Howie performed a double disc fusion for me some 20 years ago. The operation was so successful that within a month or two, I was back playing squash. Very recently I had some lower back pain, had an MRI scan and, having some problems with my GP, e mailed Dr Howie- with whom I had had no contact over the years. In a day, he located my scans and emailed me his thoughts in some detail. I asked for an invoice. "No charge". Great pity that he has now retired.

I recall Howie/Brick /Street and Tjietens 31 years later still have all rods plates wires etc still got radial nerve palsy still in agony daily from missed undiagnosed x 4vertebrae still affected daily with ongoing setbacks from 1988-- BXJ7729 oh to smile again

Dr. Howie was a godsend for me. I had already seen another specialist who had a good reputation as a surgeon but had absolutely no 'bedside manner'. Before deciding on surgery you need to have information on your options. This is what Dr. Howie gave me so I could make an informed choice. Not only is he very experienced, he's very empathetic. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Call Howie - you won't regret it!
