My experience with Dr Elie was very good. He is a great doctor and I am sticking with him.

I have had this doctor for years now, I am very satisfied how he treated my diabetes. He makes sure he explains the treatment and even helps me use the technology associated with my control. He is very patient and empathetic. I really recommend him to all!

Le pire médecin que j’ai pu rencontrer! Il devient irrespectueux quand on essai de donner notre avis sur notre propre situation de santé . Il a un manque total d’empathie et n’est pas du tout aidant. Aucun professionnalisme, je me demande bien pourquoi il a toujours de la place pour un rdv assez rapide… il n’est pas trop en demande et je comprends maintenant pourquoi !! Restez loin de cet individu.

Bonjour à vous, chercheurs de commentaires sur ce doc. On m'a donné RDV avec lui par téléphone et après avoir lu les commentaires j'étais hyper stressée de le rencontrer. J'ai lu à plusieurs reprises qu'il était grossophobe, qu'il ne prenait pas son temps, expliquait mal, etc.

Dès que je suis rentrée dans son bureau j'ai eu une très bonne première impression. Ce docteur m'a très bien expliqué ma situation, il n'était pas stressé du tout, il n'a aucunement fait allusion à mon poids même après ma pesée sur la balance.

Je me suis sentie très à l'aise, écoutée et bien informée tout le long.

J'ai eu une deuxième rencontre avec lui et c'était encore numéro 1.

Mon premier RDV j'ai passé environ 20-25 minutes en retard ce qui n'est pas grand chose mais mon deuxième RDV c'est à peine si j'ai eu le temps de m'assoir et je suis toujours un petit peu en avance. J'ai compris que pour des cas comme moi il doit me passer entre 2 patients donc tout à fait comprenable.

Excellent endocrinologist. Very knowledgeable about diabetes and very effective in advising me on the best treatment approaches. My diabetes is finally under control thanks to him.

When I went for my first appointment was cold. He did not give me info on diabetes. He was expulsive. No empathy.

The most useless appointment I've ever been too. My fam MD suspects weird stuff going on with my blood sugar. He basically talked to me about my weight and the fact I'm morbidly obese for the whole appointment. Suggesting weight loss meds and surgery. Dismissing point and research and family history I brought up to him. I'm a young women in her 20's. But I'm not dumb. Also have an Eating disorder so talking so much about weight simply caused me more issues. Didn't come here for weight loss. Came here for a diabetes suspicion that makes no sense and meds we tried with fam md didn't work. Basically spent 40$ in taxi to get back and forth to the clinic (on the side of the highway and not near public transit). Useless appointment that triggered my ED back. Do not recommend if you're a young women in her 20's especially! I did not want weight loss programs, meds or surgery, he also wanted to prescribe me a medicine I already took wich made me so sick (so no fing way I take that again, and he would not respect my opinion on not wanting to take it but he's not the sick one for fsakes, I am). And just referred me back to my family md with no suggestions and dismissing half the things I said but pushing so much weight loss things on me that I wonder why the hell he's so obsessed with my weight.

I saw him in 2020 and he took one look at me, barely looked at my file with my test results, and told me the reason I was gaining weight was because I was eating too much. At the time, I was working out 5x/week and eating 1000 calories a day. Which, we all know, is too little. He told me to eat 750/day and then when my body gets used to that, to eat 700/day. I asked him where he got his medical degree because that seems like faulty/dangerous information. Literally one of the worst DR. encounters I have ever experienced. He also barely gave me the time of day - I am SURE that I was stereotyped (young girl with a weight problem...) and not taken seriously. He tried to push appetite suppressors on me, even though I told him I eat a very strict diet and the weight gain is not caused by food.

Unfortunately, my problems persist in 2022 and no one has been able to figure out what is wrong with me. My GP wants me to see another endo and sent my referral around. I LAUGHED when I was scheduled an appt. with this dr.
I Immediately contacted my GP and told her I will most definitely not be seeing him, as he is literally the worst. Finally leaving this review because I can't believe his medical license hasn't been revoked.

STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
