I found Dr pollock to be very helpful & professional. He spent a long time listening to my medical situation (as it is very complex with both idiopathic hypersomnolence (chronic fatigue) as well as depression. For up to 18 years I've had so much difficulty travelling to specialist sleep centres, all in newcastle, & to finally have someone that I can see locally in Taree (my 1st time using Skype). For a person with mental health problems it is so important to have an expert that you have access to locally.
Dr Pollock was very patient as I was extremely anxious. He was able to help me with medication which I'm doing really well on. I have rated him as 5 stars & 4 for knowledge (as I've only had my 1st appt & am waiting for my 2nd) then I'll have more time to go into my conditions & possibly be able to update the 'knowledge' rating up to 5.
As a non-tech person the 'Skype' appt was a bit strange but I'm sure each appt will be more comfortable. It was not scary like I'd worried.
I feel very lucky to find a local specialist who was able to treat my health problems. MjR
