I had a breast reduction performed by Dr Murabit. The procedure went very well. There was minimal bruising that occurred. It has only been 6 weeks and the scarring is minimal already, and in some places you can’t even see the cut line. Recovery has been very easy, thanks to her skill and expertise!

From beginning to end, she took the time to explain the procedure, healing, and outcome thoroughly. Her bedside manner is lovely.

Her support staff are equally as wonderful. They are kind, professional people who work hard to accommodate and make the patient’s experience positive.

It is without hesitation that I rate her with full stars! Thank you Dr Murabit and support staff. This surgery has positively impacted my life, and I am so very grateful!

Dr. Amera Murabit reconstructed my breasts following a double mastectomy. Dr. Murabit's work has had a profound impact on my life, and I am forever grateful for her expertise, compassion, and skill.
Before my surgery, I was understandably terrified about what the future would hold. Surviving cancer leaves you forever changed and losing my breasts was a difficult and traumatic experience, and I was worried that I would never feel like myself again. However, from the very beginning, Dr. Murabit put me at ease. She took the time to answer all of my questions, explain my options, and listen to my concerns. Her kindness and empathy were a true comfort during a difficult time.
When it came time for the surgery itself, I felt confident that I was in good hands. Dr. Murabit's skill and precision were evident throughout the entire process, and I felt reassured knowing that she was overseeing my care. Following the procedure, the results were nothing short of remarkable. My reconstructed breasts looked and felt natural, and I was amazed at how Dr. Murabit was able to restore my body.
More than just the physical results, however, Dr. Murabit gave me something even more valuable: confidence. For so long, I had felt self-conscious and unsure of myself. I had a breast reduction performed by Dr. Murabit in April of 2022, and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Murabit.

Dr. Murabit is incredibly intelligent, patient, responsive and confident.

Dr. Murabit and the staff that work alongside her were all so compassionate which as an Indigenous person feels rare to find.

Having Dr. Murabit perform my breast reduction was by far the best choice I have ever made.

Very painful procedure and did not give enough pain meds. Was told “hang on a minute” while it felt like skin being ripped off a chicken breast. Felt every single thing. Screamed through the procedure and she didn’t give any meds. A complaint was filed, her response at the end “sorry you felt this way” .

Sadly I have to leave this comment but I will suffer the rest of my life because of a decision she made not to pin a broken bone in my hand. ‘You’re lucky it’s on the inside of the joint so it won’t get pulled out of place’. Apparently this theory was not factual. The hand was splinted 5 weeks as she recommended, as immobile as possible. I complained of pain when I saw her but ‘the x-ray looks fine’ and rushed along. I went back a month later still in pain, another x-ray and ‘the bone looks fine’, rushed along but I was referred to another specialist who would look at it. Was I being passed off because she didn’t want to deal with the mess that was created? perhaps, because the second Dr *and a student* noticed the bone had healed out of place within a minute of looking at the x-ray. Unfortunately this can’t be corrected without an invasive surgery that will reduce mobility and change the way I go about my active lifestyle. We’re waiting until it’s completely arthritic and until then I am learning techniques to manage the constant aching and pain.

If you want to get botched then i recommend going to her.I had a horrible experience with my breast reduction at the age of 20. I was young and didn’t know what to ask or how to go about getting a major surgery for the first time and she was very very unhelpful and short with me. I think she spoke to me for 3 mins and told me it was the “bread and butter” of surgery. I went in with Ds and came out with a flat chest and higher than high nipples. When we went back for the post op and reveal my mom was practically in tears because her daughter now looked deformed. 5 years later I’m still paying lots of money and time to try and fix this not to mention the mental anguish I have undergone. I’ve lost so much confidence in my self and don’t know what “normal” is anymore.

Dr Murabit is an expert in her field. She rectified my tuberous breast and made me feel I am normal after years of anxiety. She is a true divine blessing that BC and Surrey needs to treasure and thank Almighty for. I wish Dr Murabit is rewarded by the Almighty plenty and leads a peaceful and blessed life helping countless others.

If there was 10 stars Dr. Mira it would receive the from me. She operated on my husband’s back and arm or remove some cancer and he had no pain at all after the operations. There is no scars on his back or his arm, you would never know he was operated on. She is the best surgeon ever and we have quite a few in our 85 years. I would highly recommend her to anyone that needs surgery.

Dr. Murabit and her staff provided excellent care. They provided full written instructions prior to my hand surgery to show what to expect at surgery and post-op. It was easy to reach the office with questions. Follow-up was great. Extremely pleased with my experience.
