My consultation , surgery and post care was top notch. Breast reduction was completely paid for by Alberta health, tummy tuck was not but both surgeries were well worth it

I had a consultation for a breast reduction back in August 2016 . I did not get a great feeling with Dr Sinclair, he seemed interested in extras, like liposuction, nipple reduction, all added costs. When I was done, they ushered me to the front office to make a surgery appointment for January 2017. The surgery cost was going to be $4944.45 and they wanted a deposit of $900.00 right there on the spot (or I suppose when I booked the surgery date). I don't pay for anything that big on the spot without researching and making sure that this was the avenue for me and having a comfort level that would allow me to proceed.
I didn't have a great gut feeling with this and my gut told me to look at getting a second opinion.

I called for a consult with another doctor in Calgary, saw the new surgeon and he said the whole surgery WOULD BE COVERED under Alberta Health! I didn't need the liposuction. This is a complete rip off! I'm glad I didn't put any money down and was able to get the surgery just this past month and it was completely covered by Alberta Health. People please do your research, I'm $5000.00 richer and had a great surgeon who took the time and was flexible with surgery dates. I saw this new surgeon in January 2018 and had 2 dates scheduled but had to cancel with they way life goes sometimes. However, I just had surgery 10 days ago and couldn't be happier with the surgeon I chose in Calgary. Also glad I didn't have to drive home from Canmore, the 15 min drive home from the hospital was enough and quite uncomfortable.
Again, do you research and get a second opinion, it might just save you money!

I had breast reduction done in 2009, and the only regrets I have is not doing it 30 years earlier. He was professional, caring and kind. Surgery went very well and I healed a lot faster than expected. I pretty much have no scars to speak of and have full sensation after the initial healing process. I highly recommend Dr Sinclair to anyone wanting breast reduction. I have been feeling liberated ever since!

I had a breast reduction done April 2018 and he was amazing, on time and very professional. I like that hes to the point and that really made me feel like I could tell him what I wanted and what could be done. Once I have my second child I'll most definitely go back for more work by him. Highly recommend him to everyone.

Every appointment was double booked, I always had to wait at least 45 minutes past my scheduled time to be seen by this doc.
I had a breast reduction in 2010, initially was placed on a 8 months wait list. After another consultation with the doc, and being talked into more services (I was 24, at 110lbs) I paid extra $4k for Lipo, which I didn’t need, but the doc pointed out fat pockets under my armpits etc that he would remove. I thought, he’s the professional, so I decided to go for it, as he recommended it. This miraculously allowed me to skip the line and I had surgery within 3 weeks.
After surgery, Doc barely checked on me. When I got up to walk around in my hospital gown, and saw him in the hallway he completely ignored me. I brushed it off, figured he’d just be focusing on surgery. However, I didn’t have the bruising that should be the result of lipo, according to his consultation.
1st Post opp consultation: one of my nipples was completely lopsided, it became evident that no lipo was done aside from the actual breast reduction part. The “armpit fat” was still there (he suckered me into paying to remove that exact part) When I prompted him about it, he completely ignored my question. Upon further probing told me that my “fat” must’ve just grown back within 5 weeks and laughed it off... After surgery I actually was down 10 lbs. he told me that there’s no way to fix my crooked nipple unless they open me back up.
I was pretty shocked. I had to get myself fixed up with a different surgeon at my own expense. At least it’s now done right. The other surgeon did tell me that the lipo wasn’t necessary and should have never been suggested. Guess dr Sinclair just wanted to squeeze a bit more money out of a 24 yr old student.
Would not recommend.
