I was recomended to this Dr by another Dr who replaced my acl. I ended up having 2 sugerys and the after the 2nd one I could not even able to walk to my mailbox. I ended up going to Cleveland Clinic in Weston,Fl and saw Dr Lieberman who had to rebuild my back from the damage done to me by Dr Hoeltzel inserting a metal ball between my discs in my lower back. Soon after my sugery he had joined a large practice and was told by a lawyer that nothing could be done to help me. Even after the 3rd surgery I am still in pain but I am able to walk. Thank God for Dr Liberman at Cleveland Clinic.

I had surgery done by Dr. Hoetzell back in 2006. I can honestly say, I am not any better today than I was back then. He literally had a stroke while performing surgery on another patient, which I found out AFTER I had my surgery. I've seen all the "acollades" on his wall about how wounderful he is. He is incompetent and the staff was very rude AFTER they got my money. GO TO DR. GEISKE.

Having had back problems all my life, I was extremely happy to find a caring professional who, first and foremost, listened to what I had to say and took into consideration my medical history. When I firsy saw him, there was no rush for surgery, as at that time, physical therapy done right, worked wonders. When the time was right, surgery was scheduled and I am pleased more than ever. It's wonderful to have a doctor that actually cares and has a calm, reassuring, human bedside manner. After over 15 years of seeing other doctors in this field, I finally do not have to look further. I find the same opinions in talking with his other patients while in his waiting room.

Dr. Hoetzell and his staff were excellent before my surgery and still at this point. I have been going to Dr. Hoetzell with a receommendation from a friend who raves about him. He did surgery on my back and I have not had the pain I had since the surgery. I was in pain for almost 16 years. I have to say I would recommend him in a second. He has a great bed side manner and he explains everything in detail.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Hoeltzell and was extremely pleased to finally find a doctor who truly cares about his patients. His staff was extremely helpful and the entire process went very smooth. I look forward to following up in the future and will definetely refer patients.

I must say Dr. Hoeltzell can be very very rude when confronted. His staff is terrible and all they do is lie and they never follow up or return calls. I had a surgery done and the follow up and help was and still is the worst. The surgery was a farse and what was billed to my insurance was not done at all. I am in extreme pain and my back is screwed up very badly. I am looking for more people who have had any problems like this for a class action suit. People shouldn't be treated the way they treated me or others as I am finding out now. Please help

DR Hoeltzell was the most unprofessional physician I have ever had the "DISpleasure" of meeting. Both he and his staff was highly recommended by a nieghbor who had surgery done by DR Hoeltzell 2 years ago was no place to be found, or they all changed personalities. RUDE! I went with my 1st opinion Neurosurgeon DR Matthew Moore, I would highly recommend anybody planning on seeing DR Hoeltzell, change your appointment and see a real surgeon DR Moore. I am 110% only 10 days after surgery with DR Matthew Moore! No thanks to Hoeltzell and staff. DR Moore is the king of Neurosurgeons and your safest best!

I visited Dr. Hoeltzell due to severe pain in my right arm. He said he wanted me to try an epidural and recommended a doctor within his office building. The doctor scheduled my epidural then learned that they were not in fact in my "group". I was told they contacted Dr. Hoeltzell's office and that Hoeltzell would find someone to do the epidural and call me with the details on Friday, April 20. I called his office on Tuesday, April 24 to find out what the hold up was. I was told the nurse was busy, but would get an answer for me and call me back shortly. I never received the phone call. This is the 4th time I've called his office and no one has ever called me back. I am still in severe pain, was told not to come back to work until I get this resolved, and at this point have no idea what to do. I am extremely upset with Hoeltzell's office staff and their lack of concern and compassion for his patients. I am literally suffering due to their lack of professionalism.
