I've been suffering from menorrhagia and also am trying to conceive the last 3 years. I have been to 4 OBGYNs and none of them did what Dr. Finberg has done. HE actually TOOK THE TIME to assess me, he personally took down my history and discussed my issues. He did a complete physical exam, ultrasound(which is amazing that he has his own ultrasound machine unlike other doctor's offices where you have to find and make an appointment yourself and wait times are awful), and pap smear. He explained to us what he saw on my ultrasound and planned a course of action for my issues. I have never felt this compassion and care from the 4 previous OBs thats I saw(mind you they even have 5 star review that's why I picked them) I finally felt that I am a REAL PATIENT and not just another number. He is very thorough and is truly an efficient doctor who actually cares. His office has a good vibe and very clean. I am extremely thankful to have been referred to him by a friend. I finally am optimistic and positive that I am going to get well and really hoping to get pregnant after my treatments. He is without a doubt the BEST OBGYN IN BAKERSFIELD.

Wonderful doctor who goes out of his way to do everything he can for you. He's always there for any questions or concerns you might have. He is old school in his practices but that's not always a bad thing

My first visit Dr insisted that I needed to deliver a week early because labor was NOT safe and could tear my scar and kill my baby. He insisted this up until 37 weeks, even after the ultrasound to check babies health and gestation, until he needed to go to New York a week before my due date. When I insisted he still take the baby before he left he said he would not because it wasn't safe. Man lies to suit his schedule and does not care about the safety of your baby. If anything happens to my baby you can bet I will sue him with everything I have. I have had 2 previous bad pregnancies and never felt the way I do about this doctor. He is dismissive and senile. Remembers what is convenient for him and makes up the rest along the way to suit his memory not actual events. I will not use him for my next child and if I could get another Dr this late you can bet I would. Stay away from this man.. he is not respectful of his patients and will treat you like an idiot in the end even if he didn't make you feel that way to begin. All an act to get you until you have no choice but to stay and endure his nonsense.

Really, the best. He is thorough. He talks me through my questions, gives me straight information, has met me at the emergency room, even calls me back with answers to my most dorky questions. He really goes out of his way to be sure I have good information to make healthy choices.

Nurses highly recommended Dr Finberg as a great OB to deliver my baby. Being my 6th child I have to honestly say I am so thankful for Dr Finberg his bedside manner may not always be up to par but considering he delivers so many babies at his age day and night he doesn't get a whole lot of sleep! I called him at 1 am and he was at the hospital before me and there early in the morning to check up in me ! I love Dr Finberg and would like to add that many female doctors and nurses go to him for their care and that says a lot

This doctor has the worst bedside manner. In an already uncomfortable situation, he walked in did not say a word to me, then after my examination pulled me into his office to tell me I'm morbidly obese (I think I was the first to know this, didn't need him to tell me). I left his office in tears and now have permanent anxiety about going to the gyno.
