Awful physician who was incredibly uncaring, rude and unknowledgable!!! Went to a much better neurologist after this waste of time and money!!!

I thought Dr. Van Houten was a bit arrogant and rather insulting.

I went to see Dr. Van Houten about severe, persistent headaches. He took no action, scheduled no tests, and gave me a vague description of what the issue could be, after which I was continually hounded by his office to settle a debt of $10 - my copay was $20 at the time and for reasons that are still unclear to me it was increased to $30 after I had left his office, a difference which his office refused to waive. I would never advise anyone to visit his unhelpful practice.

Very knowledgeble, understanding and completely explained what he testing and extremely patient, and answered all questions in layman's verbage

I saw this doctor a few times and found him to be uncaring and aloof. I'm glad that I switched to another doctor.
