Frightening that a professional allows his naked hatred and bigotry effect his practice

My mother has gone through multiple health issues over the last 6 months and is still in therapy even but dr hazel was her er dr and continued as her pulmonologist during her stay at two other facilities and has always been very knowledgeable and honest about everything. My family and I are more appreciative and blessed to have had him as my moms dr. He does care about his patients and will do what is necessary and best to give them their best shot at recovery.

My experience with Dr. Richard Hazen could not have been better. I cannot describe in words how knowledgeable and professional he is. He went out of his way (without charge) to ensure my well being. Dr. Hazen worked for well over a year on his own time to help me receive a special issuance medical from the Federal Aviation Administration. This doctor changed my life. Dr. Hazen helped me to achieve my dream of becoming a pilot, and for that I am forever thankful and forever in his debt.

Stay away from Dr. Richard W. Hazen and advise everyone that you know to do the same. He is a terrible individual and it is scary that he has a medical degree. From personal experience, I have seen how he treats family members of patients who are in dire straits. Horrible, rude, nasty and heartless. Absolutely no compassion – he actually yelled and screamed at family members during the most difficult and sad time of our lives while suffering a loss. How is it possible that this man should be allowed to practice medicine. Spare yourself and loved ones...

Dr. Hazen is excellent! Thorough, highly intelligent and interested in the "whole" person...not just a clinician. He personally calls the patient back when called on follow up issues versus having a nurse or office administrator do it. His professional/medical credentials are excellent as well. If you're looking for a very sharp MD who knows his stuff, check him out!

Dr Hazan is the best Pulmonologist you can go to. I had heart surgery and went into respiratory failure. I was so lucky he came to my rescue. He saved my life. Since then I have come to respect him even more. He is the epitome of an excellent doctor. He really cares about his patients. He is not the least bit arrogant like some doctors. In fact he seems very humble. I assume that being a critical care doctor he has to deal with a lot more than any human being should have to deal with.
