One of the worst physicians I've ever encountered. Does not care about his patients. Never available, will neve return calls or emails, will refuse to meet. When you ask for tests he will send you to the wrong ones- does not listen to his patients. He should retire and make room for a doctor that cares. The patients shouldn't pay for his malpractice.

My husband has issues with blood clotting, and this Dr didn't want to prescribe him medicines because it was not his area of expertise. He didn't want to refer him to a specialist either. My husband opted to go to a walking clinic for a proper treatment. We had to quit this family Dr. due to negligence. I don't understand why is he allowed to exercise this profession

Doesn’t care and has no interest in what you have to say, he rushes you off the phone he makes no efforts or suggestions to your situation. Why are these doctors allowed to treat and take peoples lives into their hands. It really isn’t fair to our society.

After being on the waiting list for 2 years to get a family doctor I got called by Dr. Jasts clinic. I am so grateful and he has been following me now for about 6 months and has helped me so much even with the Covid situation. I had some problems he couldn't handle due to covud but he gave me referals and I have not hand any issues as of date. Definitely recommend him

This doctor has messed with my mother for years 15+ years and she does not feel like he listens and hears her concerns. She has a lot of past health problems that require monitoring (heart problems and cancer being two of them) and besides referring her once a year to someone else for a follow up he is incredibly negligent on any current issues she may be facing. He did not want to refer her to an ear specialist when my mother began experiencing pain recently. It has still not been addressed. 2 years ago he gave my mom her yearly prescriptions and asked her to come back one month before the renewal to make sure she wouldn’t risk running short and my mother who suffers from a lot anxiety and has to travel over 3 hours there and back. So she takes her appointment and goes and he tells her it hasn’t been a full year since her last visit so he makes her reschedule her appointment for in 3 weeks time and caused my mother stress for no logical reason. My mother recently found her cousin passed away during a summer visit and had to attempt CPR while the paramedics were on the way and he sadly did not make it and my mother has been experiencing nightmares and increased anxiety over this and Dr Jast has made her jump through hoops to get a referral for grief counseling as well as a psychologist for which he told her for years that it’s all in her head. He insisted that she wait for the referrals until her annual blood tests are due and only after she completes them and he reviews the results will he give her the referrals. Why is it necessary to make my mother wait for weeks when she’s currently suffering from reliving a traumatic experience?

And the biggest problem people have with wanting to change family doctors is that you need sign off on removing the doctor as your family doctor before you can go back on a 1-2 year waiting list for another and my mothers fear and anxiety of being without a doctor forces her to continue to see a negligent doctor.

He was my family Doctor, and let me tell you one thing. It's better not having a Doctor and be in the waiting list for years, than having him as you family doctor.

The land that time forgot should be the movie playing in his waiting room. A helluva a nice guy who is spending his retirement years playing doctor. Here s my story. I have a variety of issues that require quite a bit of meds. One pill that I take for blood pressure is known to cause a spike in potassium levels. Too high levels can kill you. literally. Last October my rate was high. He sent me to the ER stating, one of your BP pills might be causing this, go get yourself checked out STAT. nO FOLLOW UP ON HIS PART. When he sent me for more blood tests later on he neglected to check the Potassium box and a host of others. He focused strictly on Iron and B12, two categories that he forget to check in the fall. He convoked me to his office. After a friendly greeting he asked me, how did your potassium get so high. Off to the ER Iwent and had a lovely 10 hr intervenous drip, like Maxwell House, good to the last drop. The ER Dr. who was excellent, Dr. Lajoie, so nice and compotent you re actually glad to be sick went over my meds and said, why are you on spirolactonone, do you have liver issues. It s no longer used to treat BP, it spikes Potassium , get off it immediately. When I do inform Dr.Jast about this change, I woould nt be surprised if he prescribe leeches in its place. Dangerously behind the times is Dr. Jast. His results arent received via computer but through telegrams and the Pony Express.
