my experience with this doctor is that though he can be a bit paternalistic he is willing to listen and bothers to take the time to do a thorough examination. He took the time to answers my questions and even returned a call promptly when I had had some bad news and replied to a fax I sent him. I would say that in our day and age he is the old fashioned type of doctor who is very present to his patients. There is no arrogence in this gentleman. Like most doctors though he does tend to give the impression that the patient is worrying for nothing, or perhaps that is his way to trying to calm the patients worries, he does reassure though and is not averse to the use of non traditional medicine by his patients, unlike most doctors who smirk when a patient tells them that the osteopath or naturopath was of tremendous help.

J'ai rencontré le docteur Copti pour de sérieuses migraines qu'il ne prenait pas au sérieux. Son remède: rencontre avec un psychologue et tisane pour relaxer. Ces migraine étaient en fait une grosse tumeur au cerveau ... qu'un autre neurologue a diagnostiqué.

I used to have severe head pains and Dr. Copti was the only one who took time to ask all the pertinent questions and get to the root of the problem. Compared to the 1st dr I saw, he wanted to prescribe medication for the rest of my life.... I really liked Dr. Copti.

Le Dr Copti ne m'a pas prise au sérieux alors que j'avais des symptômes neurologiques importants. Il a même suggéré qu'ils étaient peut-être la manifestation de dons de «médium»!!! J'avais l'impression qu'il se foutait de ma gueule et qu'il avait mieux à faire que d'essayer de m'aider. Une rencontre très frustrante. En plus, il était en retard d'environ 2 heures!

Après 4 ans avec des problèmes de santé (diagnostic de syringomyélie qui s'est avéré être de la fibromyalgie), c'est le premier médecin à avoir trouvé la combinaison de médicaments (neurontin 100 mg + acide folique) qui m'ont permis de retrouver une vie normale . Merci!

J'avais un rendez-vs à 10 hr AM et j'ai vu le médecin à 15 hr PM. Très pénible d'attendre si longtemps lorsqu'on souffre. Il pose beaucoup de questions mais je n'ai eu aucun résultat concret avec lui.
