He was wonderful in the early 2000's for my knee replacement. Went back in 2010 or so for my other knee and it didn't go well. I was told he was doing surgery on both sides of the isle so I felt he had lost his focus. I had complications from the get go and he just resented that I needed attention. He admitted that he threw my sciatic nerve out of place during the surgery and things were further complicated with my body rejecting the stitches. He prolonged solving the problem with week after week of my having to pack the wound which ultimately became infected. He was impatient and difficult to deal with. Never would I go back to him. Sad.

Dr Teeny did Bilateral knee replacement on me in 2011. I have had zero pain in both knees since that time. I am so happy with the results. Excellent surgeon!

Great doctor. I fractured my hip & didn't even know. The surgery took much longer than most, 5 hours. But Dr Teeney did a great job & his staff is wonderful & very friendly & helpful. I would recommend Lakewood clinic/hospital even if you are not in their location. Thank you!!

Dr. Teeny was great with my mother she went to the emergence room for pain he looked at her X-rays and MRI and took her to surgery immediately. My mom had been in so much pain for years and now she is doing great. We thank God for Dr. Teeny every day. Dr. Teeny is one of the best Orthopedic surgeons in the country so if he can't spend 45 min with us I totally understand he answered all my moms question and he was very caring. I would recommend him if you want you surgery done right not if you want a docter to baby sit you he is way to busy for that.

No patient respect, rude, and condesindean. No pain management expect suck it up, nurse is a pit bull and the doctor not only likes it but is proud of it. There is something wrouny here.

Have seen 2 Drs in this office for other joints and loved them. Not Teeny. 3 minutes of his time at only pre-op appt and the 10 seconds prior to surgery. Office called days later wanting MRI films that we had taken in as required and they KEPT. Less than 40 hours prior to surgery, we got VM changing surgery time, please call back. We did, no reason given for the change which caused us to have to rearrange several things. Since we were on the phone anyway (and have done it before with 3 other surgeries done there), I asked if we could get the Rx's filled in advance (so I wouldn't have to leave patient alone right after surgery), was told No, patient might just be a drug seeker who wouldn't show up for surgery. WTF? When I asked Teeny about it 2 min post op, I was ignored and told I was RUDE to call for question or requests, wasting time of personnel answering phone. RX's were not properly written even post op. Find another Dr. Teeny is an arrogant ass with a GOD complex.

I had a bi-lateral knee replacement by Dr. Teeny on September 21, 2003. At that time Dr. Teeny said that my knees were some of the worst he had ever worked on. 6 hours total for both. Best thing I ever did! The rehabilitation is tough but you have to do it! Before having surgery I investigated all my options. Went to the UW Medical Center for an evaluation and they recommended that I have my left knee fussed! Forget that! I had been reccommended to Dr. Teeny from another orthopedic doctor and was glad I choose him and the Lakewood Orthopedic Center. I have since talked to other people that have had bad experiences with replacements by other doctors who did not specialize in knee replacements. I highly recommend Dr. Teeny to anyone. He does the job right!
