My Girlfriend got a splinter in her foot, when I took her to emerg it took him almost 2 hrs to get there, and he took it out and sent her home, she was on cruchs for almost 1 mth, before he took x rays, then proceeded to say there was nothing wrong, and she was a puss b/c she was still in pain, so she went to DR. Christie and she right away sent her to DR. Shiek he then sent her for and MRI right away and found there is a deep infection and now she has to go in for surgery, this Quack should go back to where he came from and maybe get off the roids

I have never been more disgusted with a doctor in my life. I have been in tears more times than I can count after a visit with him. I prefer a doctor who listens to me.

very unpersonal, not what I am looking for in a Dr.

He makes you feel like you are wasting his time. He is not friendly and thinks everyone just wants drugs. Once he takes the time to actually examine you then he seems to know more. Have had a few bad experiences with him not just once but a few times. I do not feel safe taking my kids to him what if something serious was wrong and he mis diagnosed them wouldn't be the first time with him!

I Went to this doctor 3 times to get my knee chekced out. He told me to rest it and take advil. Finaly, the third time i visited him he sent me to get xrays. He is not referring me to a specialist. About time

I think Dr. Van Der Merwe is very helpful. He is a very good doctor. He explains options clearly. Like most of our doctors, he will move to a bigger center.

I found Dr.Van der Merwe to be an excellent Dr. I felt very comfortable speaking to him about any of my many problems. My health and over-all well being has been so much better since I began seeing him.

Dr. Van De Merwe was incredibly knowledgeable. When I was seriously ill he was right there and did everything that needed to be done. He went the extra mile and has been more than helpful. Once he gets to know you he's very open and communicative.
