Dr. Niehause has been my family surgeon for 20 years. He has always provided top notch service with superior surgical skills. He listens to my concerns, asks questions until he understands what I am saying and answers my questions and makes sure I understands what he is saying. I trust him completely and recommend him highly.

i dealt with dr. Niehaus on a business level when i worked in radiology. This man was trying to contact our department for test results during 2nd shift while were were attending to a trauma patient in the ER. He did not page us overhead or leave a message in our department. He did not come down to pull the patient file or ask the nurse attending to the patient to try to get results. He came into the department picked up our cordless phone, pushed the talk button and hid it. His reason was that if we couldnt answer the phone we had no business having it on. This held the entire hospital hostage. If there was a situation where we were needed immediately and were called(we couldnt answer the call) if we were paged we had to go to the other side of the department to return the call until the phone was located. Imagine having a parent in intensive care that need a chest tube placed but they had to wait an hour for radiology to get there. That can be life and death.
