I saw Dr. Murphy as a new patient when I became pregnant after multiple miscarriages. He was very patient with me and addressed all my concerns. He explained all my care and options along the way, and his reasons for recommending or not recommending different tests and procedures. My pregnancy was successful and he was amazing during my delivery and followed up with me throughout my recovery. I am very happy with the care I received as his patient. The only concern I have ever had is that, near the end of my pregnancy, I could see that his practice had grown and he was so busy that he sometimes seemed a little overwhelmed and frequently was backed up with appointments. He is new to our area so he may need to stop taking new patients or get an associate to help with his workload. Overall I love him as my doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Murphy for about 3 years now. I first saw him for a tumor that was found. He was EXCELLENT about everything. He really takes time to teach not just mutter medical words most people have not learned. I'm a visual learner and he uses this style as well to teach me what he is learning from my body. He is very thorough and is cautious enough because he really cares about your future like your son would. Believe me, I've lived elsewhere and the medical care here in this town trumps everything I've had before. I don't take him for granted or mistrust him. People have to realize there are steps, procedures, and patient cooperation to REACH a solid diagnosis and sometimes things just happen and it is was it is. Blaming doctors for everything is counter productive. They are human. (I have a background in nursing btw)

NOW I HAVE A SON AND HE HAS TOOKEN VERY GOOD CARE OF ME THROUGH A DIFFICULT TIME. I RECOMEND HIM TO EVERY ONE. THE ONLY SAD THING IS THAT HE RECENTLY MOVED TO LUDINGTON.

Nicest doctor I have ever had. Helpful and knowledgable. Delivered both of my children and I had no worries. I can't say enough about him, have recommended to several people, all have loved him!

I found this doctor unwilling to take any extra time with me to listen to my concerns. When I expressed pain in the abdomin he misdiagnosed my gall bladder problem and that landed me in the hospital for 4 days. I had pancreatitis which has been known to be fatal.
