Dr. Crank operated on my heel to remove a heel spur, but he didn't remove it. After struggling for months with pain and swelling in the wound, I went for a second opinion. The x-ray showed the heel spur still there, as big as ever. My only recourse was another surgery. Happily, the recovery from the second surgery was fast and complete. Don't waste you time with this doctor; he's sweet, but he is NOT a competent surgeon.

Amazing and wonderful Doctor. I went to my family doctor and a foot specialist and neither one could diagnose my problem. After suffering for 9 months with extreme pain I contacted Dr Crank and finally got the answers I was looking for, for months. I had surgery last Friday and am back on my feet and walking and my chronic heel pain is gone. Can't thank this man enough for his knowledge and expertise and the excellent job he did taking care of me as a patient. HIGHLY reccomend this gentleman.

Surgery for Hallux Rigidus. Very polite, professional. I went to see Don for a second opinion as I was not completely comfortable with my DPM I originally visited, even after 3 office visits. After the consultation with Dr. Crank, I 'knew' I wanted him to manage and perform surgery on my foot. My visit with him was on a Monday and I asked to have the surgery Thursday of the same week. 2 Months post-op and things are progressing very well working with PT to help regain flexibility and full use of my foot/toes. I unequivocally recommend him for anyone with feet issues that requires the care and attention of a podiatrist.
