Biography
Dr. Wendy Chang is partner and Scientific Director of Southern California Reproductive Center. She is a skilled and experienced specialist in reproductive endocrinology, with a special focus on the hormonal basis of women's infertility. Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and French, with proficiency in medical Spanish, she brings a wealth of research and clinical expertise to benefit each patient she treats. A board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and obstetrician/gynecologist, Dr. Chang serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine and the USC Keck School of Medicine.

My wife and I went to Dr. Chang for IUI and IVF treatments. Dr. Chang, while obviously knowledgeable, didn't demonstrate positive bedside manner. On several occasions, when questioned why she was making certain decisions, she became defensive and began spouting lots of numbers and statistics, when all we really needed was reassurance that everything was as it needed to be. Our experience with her ended after our final IVF. There was never a call after the procedure. Ever. My wife had to use several over-the-counter pregnancy tests to determine that the IVF hadn't worked. During probably the most emotional experience of our lives, Dr. Chang ignored the results and went on with her life. After going to other infertility docs (@ HRC, where the experience has been amazing), Dr. Chang will never be recommended.
