Dr. Steiner did my ACL reconstruction surgery. Before surgery he was very curt and not comforting. His horrible bedside manner became more apparent after surgery when he briefly went over the photos of my knee in less than 5 minutes and clearly seemed uninterested. It has been 5 months since surgery and he has not been at a single one of my post op-appointments (his assistant always does the evaluations). Dr. Steiner failed to keep in touch or relay information to my physical therapist, and it was always unclear what I was could and could not do physically. He tells me I will not be cleared to return to play in less than 9 months despite being ahead of recovery time (though I do credit this to my physical therapist and staff). The staff at the office have always been very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately Dr. Steiner fails to reach those standards due to his standoffish personality and inability to remain involved and up to date with his patients after racking in the big bucks. Do not recommend.

Dr. Steiner did my acl reconstruction. I was told it had to be at a surgery center he is a primary shareholder of, and while the surgery was covered by insurance, the visit to the center WAS NOT, nor was the anesthesiologist. After fighting with everyone I ended up having to pay 5000 for my knee surgery. 5000.00, a very even number.... To make matters worse, my knee is not fixed - when Dr. Steiner last saw it, he said it was "loose". Avoid this doctor.
