I think he is so kind and understanding. After having an Lazer surgery by another dr, he helped me get through some horrible times. He listens and hears your concerns. I highly recommend him!

This doctor failed to offer early treatment that could have extended my vision. He appeared to have a personal dislike for me. He forgot about me and left the office to go home.

My oh my, if you have a baby….do not see this doctor! He is so rude, has no empathy and basically no manners. Disgusting man! I hope one day someone makes him feel the way he’s made me feel. Asks me “what’s my problem” when I ask about why my baby’s eyes need to be dilated for 2 days. Like okay, I am asking because I am a first time mom to 2 very premature babies. I’ve had a hell of a long journey in the NICU and I am just a little sensitive to my baby going through any medical procedures or something that may not be needed I.e. like dilated eyes for 2 days. Instead of listening to my concerns, he just made me feel like an idiot. Our first appointment wasn’t very good either, the first thing he said when he walked in the room with my babies was to “make sure they don’t cry.” My baby’s eyes were dilated before his appointment for no reason….all he did was said to come back in a couple months when he’s older because he can’t see anything. I’d rather do to BC Children's and see a paediatric ophthalmologist.

I have been seeing O'Donnel for years to treat my Uveitis flares. He listens to me and trusts I know what I'm talking about when it comes to my condition. While the office can get busy, he and his staff do their best to treat me quickly and effectively. I feel in good hands when I see this doctor.
