Dr Metcalf was rude, uncaring, and lacked the concern and kindness a doctor should display and provide his patients. There's a lot of great doctors on the island that truly care about their patients and take the time to hear their concerns, so I was shocked and disappointed to experience this type of behavior. Maybe this doctor should consider retiring, if patients aren't his upmost concern.

I have been with Dr. Medcalf for about 6 yrs. and I just get no where with him. He doesn't listen to you. If you go in with a list of things to address, he looks and acts like to you that you are a Hyper-konarack.My last visit with him on 3/15/11, was to get my ears checked out for the 3rd time in 2 yrs. and he gave me an antibiotic that I was allergic to and had a reaction.I called in to say I could not take it and could he PLEASE call in a different med and he refused. He said I needed to come back in for another visit and I refused due to $ amd his standards of practice. He had diagnosed me with a sinus infection and I had a fever and neck ache and dizziness which in turn was, menieres. I won't be back to him.
