What is so frustrating in first meeting Dr. Hoppe (being a woman) is he will look down at you, talk down to you and one will walk away wondering why so angry. Any person he recommends will look down at you, talk down to you. Ex. The Dr. he recommend for wisdom teeth being pulled for our son, the doctor only spoke with my husband and ignored me after treatment was preformed. I went to the appointments, and made all the appointments! No wonder this ortho surgeon had no patients. Bird of a feather......

Even his new ortho Dr. who is Muslim, will look down on you and talk down to you as if you are stupid. He will pick a fight with you if you disagree when I questioned something he stated trying to get an idea of what he meant. Most of the time he lets his staff preform oral issues while he walks out the door, gets into his car and drives home to San Antonio. He never stays to talk about how things are going even if you are out in the waiting room watching him walk out the door. Why wasn't I called back? Again, birds of a feather....

Even Carla the office manager/secretary will cause you issues and have read on yelp people whom have had issues with her. (Her attitude is Go Somewhere Else.) More birds flapping....

According to Dr. Hoppe, "I got rid of all the BAD people" meaning patients he did not like from his practice he told me. I thought,"Even bad people pay their bills." But that statement might be the reason why his office is empty most of the time. His non stop talking earned me inside information on how the man really thought of other people in general. Even bragged how no one knows most of their kids are adopted. (Me: huh? )

To top this off, I decided back in Jan. of this year (2019) to not return. Last week. July 19, 2019 received a call from this dentist office asking if I was coming to my appointment. I did not make an appointment. According to the girl (not Carla whom did not want to talk with me) we had appointments. Lucky for me I did not have a car that day and told them I could not make it if I wanted to. Besides, NO ONE called me the day before (which they do) to REMIND me of this ghost appointment.

This place is a ghost town of dentistry or what you should not do to in order to grow a business. I went to this place for over 3 years. The phone hardly rang or was quiet for several hours after opening. This place is in trouble and the only patients they have are new patients which some never return. (including my husband) I went there mostly cause it was an easy in and out, but as time went on, the attitudes at this place become worst.

if they say you need surgery for receding gums, get a second opinion. in one visit, they dropped this bomb on me-no history of this ever being mentioned-but they had a new oral surgeon on staff that day who agreed with the dentist...as it happened,i put off surgery to relocate to new state. new dentist said i didn't need surgery at all! always get the second opinion before you undergo surgery!

I have been to many dentists and have had not so good experiences. I must say, I went to see Dr. Hoppe because of the location and that I have pretty much given up on dentists. I have an immune disease and he was very sympathetic and understanding. His wife, who is pediatric dentist there saw my daughter. We are very pleased with our experiences. Him and his staff make me feel very comfortable and "at home". They all tell jokes, are very easy going....I very highly recommend anyone going to see Dr. Christopher Hoppe.

Really pushes unnecessary services. Has trouble listening. Not recommended.
