Dr. Smyth operated on me in 1985 at Wellesley Hospital in Toront and removed nearly all of a pituitary tumor. Naturally I had a great deal of fear about such a surgery but Dr. Smyth soon suppressed those feelings and to make a long story short, despite considerable bleeding through the duration of the surgery, I recovered well and continue to live a great life all these years later! I found Dr. Smyth to be kind, caring and considerate of my feelings and worries at a difficult time.

Some 30 yrs ago Dr Smythe removed a tumour from my Pituitary Gland. A new laser surgery at the time. I am truly indebted to Dr Smythe. He was one of the warmest, most caring people I have ever met. Any fears that I had were put to rest by his manner. The surgery went perfectly (8 hrs!). Dr Smythe is a brilliant surgeon. Thankyou.

Dr. Smythe saved my life. I suffered from a very rare abscess which had grown attached to my brain. At no time whatsoever was I nervous or afraid of the surgery I was about to have. It made my wife and family at ease to see how calm he was and how much time he devoted to answering any questions. Because of his skill and devotion to patient care I am here today. At the age of only 36 years old, I was given back my life. Looking back four years later, I feel the same as I did when I woke up after my surgery. Happy to be alive. There is not one single day I do not think of Dr. Smythe. Every day above ground is a good day so thank you, again, Dr. Smythe. My wife, my two sons and the rest of my family thank you.

Dr. Smyth, who performed surgery on my husband's pituitary, was a GODSEND. I recommend him highly; certain postsurgery instructions were neglected by hospital staff; make sure to ask lots of questions of the staff, double check. He is an awesome surgeon.

Dr.Smyth is a caring doctor who shows interest in your problem and spends time explaining. The moment we met Dr.Smyth he made us feel so comfortable with his grand sense of humour we had the feeling we were talking to a long time friend. Very knowledgable. Great experience and a great doctor.
