I have been a patient of Dr Schleifer for over 7 years and she has given me excellent care both under OHIP and for the complementary medicine non OHIP covered services. I have may friends and family that are also her patients and none of us have ever been charged a join up fee. She offers back to health and other programs which include the services of other non OHIP covered practioners, such as Naturopath, Psychologist, Physiotherapist, Registered nurse practitioner, etc at her clinic. I would also like to receive these services for free as the last two entries would like, but I am not aware of too many people working for free. What would be great is, if the politicians started covering health services which would keep us healthy, by covering all the services provided by Dr Schleifer and the other dedicated Drs and staff at The Hope Clinic, rather than wait until we end up in hospital.

Dr Schleifer is a very progressive MD knowledgable in both convential and complementary medicine. She has found solutions to my health issues that did not need the never ending use of prescription medications. Her use of genetic testing from a USA lab and her treatment program has helped to me feel better in my 50's than I felt in my 30's. A very dedicated Doctor.

Dr Schleifer has been my Doctor for seven years and many times has gone the extra mile to help me. I made the transition with her from only regular medicine to her new practice of integrative medicine i.e. she combines regular medicine with complementary medicine. The last entry on this site may not be aware that the other practictioners such as Naturopaths, Dietitans, etc, Dr Schleifer works with are not covered by Ohip. I consider her an excellent Doctor and the charges for the integrative care are reasonable and in my case a life saver.

"orphaned" me because I couldn't afford her integrative program...did not offer to help find a new Doctor. She seemed really nice until I told her I couldn't pay over $1000 a year.

I have never had a better m.d. She is meticulous, caring, and has helped me through many a tough time. Her knowledge is outstanding. Her office is efficient,well run and friendly and I always feel comfortable there.

Nice lady who truly cares about her patients, however sometimes rushes through a checkup because she serves multiple patients at one time. Her 2 secretaries on the other hand don't know what's going on - they confuse patients results, lose files, etc.
