I had sever post traumatic stress disorder from her gross incompetence of knowledge and care for myself and my son before, during and post birth. Unfortunately the College of Midwifery stated that it was her word against ours and there was no evidence of her lack of knowledge. Had she had her licence taken away, back in 2003, so many women and their babies would have been spared from her ....... (too many negatives to mention she) It boggles my mind. If anyone rated her positively, I would consider that they were a few of the lucky ones. Most of the people rating here are people who were lucky. The not so lucky ones are not rating here, obviously.

Obviously Dec negative comments are not the ratings of Roseanne Perconti's patients! They are not rating the care received from Roseanne which is the point of this web site. Roseanne will be appealing the College of Midwives "judgement".

There are significant deficits in her knowledge,skills,clinical judgements.
She is no longer practicing to protect public safety.

Loved this lady! The most calming and understanding influence in our 1st pregnancy in 2012. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Completely trusted and felt safe and sure in our choice of midwives! Would and have highly recommended her services. We ended up breech and c section, but she was there with my husband and baby in the nursery making sure our wishes were met for no bottles or soothers, helping him cut the cord and then advocating skin to skin and breastfeeding for me when hospital was recommending other things... I always felt heard and that educating was her number one priority. My wishes were respected and if she felt there was something that would help she would make sure we knew. I really hope I can use her again for this baby due in April 2015!

I would HIGHLY recommend Roseanne Perconti. I had the pleasure of being under the care of her and her staff in 2012. She went above and WAY beyond our expectations. When emergency room doctors sent me home without clear answers, I contacted Rose Anne and she was the one who got me taken care of right away!! Unfortunately shortly thereafter things took an unfavorable turn and care had to be transferred to hospital. However, that being said... Roseanne was the one who caught on to the condition and got the ball rolling on care and treatment. She didn't stop there. She checked in with me regularly, she came to visit when I was hospitalized, she answered questions & calmed fears and unknowns. When our baby was born she celebrated with us and provided incredible care and post natal support as I tried to breastfeed my preemie who was born via C-section. My husband and I wouldn't have had it any other way, we can't say enough good about her and look forward to sharing our future pregnancies/births with her at our side!

I found Rose Anne to be cool headed, calm and focused when I needed the most support and guidance during labour. She showed great support and respect for her second attendant as they diligently checked each other at each step post birth. I remember this because a new mother observes meticulously until her new born is safely swaddled in her arms. Rose Anne's great sense of humor, and nurturing spirit kept me at ease, building confidence from the first prenatal meeting to the last clinical visit with my son.

Rose Anne provided amazing care during my pregnancy with my daughter. Unfortunately due to a placenta abruption I was unable to deliver with her, but she provided me with amazing after care. She traveled to my house multiple times including Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and spent a minimum of an hour with us for each of these visits. Without her I would have been a first time mom with no medical support over the holidays!

I was a client of Rose Anne and her clinic this past summer, and was thrilled with the care I received. My choices were always respected and supported, and Rose Anne's presence at my labour and delivery was singlehandedly responsible for providing a birth experience that was better than I could have imagined. What a knowledgeable, caring, and supportive woman. I would highly recommend her as a midwife to anyone seeking quality midwifery care.
