I had gallbladder surgery in November 2019 and I would say Dr. Pooler is the best doctor I have ever met. Dr. Pooler literally saved my life and I am grateful to him for excellent surgery and follow up.

My father was referred to Dr. Pooler by his doctor regarding bleeding. As my father is 92 and hard of hearing, both my sister and I attended the appointments with him. Dr. Pooler was kind, considerate and very informative. My father's colon cancer was diagnosed, and Dr. Pooler did the surgery and follow-up. I was so impressed by him that, after the followup appointment was over, I asked him if I could use him as my doctor (I have diverticulosis). My own experience with him was the same as my father's...beyond excellent.

Dr. Pooler talked with me about the colonoscopy procedure, asked and answered questions, and made me feel at ease. I highly recommend this surgeon. His staff are also very helpful and efficient.

I've had both a colonoscopy and gallbladder removal with Dr. Pooler and both experiences were top notch. His surgical resident for the gallbladder procedure was terrific too. He answered all my questions before and after surgery and he came in late on a stat holiday to do the gallbladder which was a bit of an emergency. You'll be in good hands with this surgeon!

Dr. Pooler is AWESOME! I went from my doctor's office to the ER then met with Dr. Pooler and a few hours later he was removing my appendix. First hospital stay ever and it was great (considering). The nurses were amazing but especially his OR team. It was late at night and all of them were happy and having fun and it made my experience actually enjoyable. The laparoscopic surgery was done and the next day I was feeling fine. 3 days after I had returned to work and as long as I kept in mind there are certain things I was unable to do at that time all has gone so well! It hasn't even been a week and I have ZERO discomfort without pain meds!
