Dr. Lama was very kind, informative, knowledgeable, has patience with kids.

Dr. Lama and his partner have a very, very busy urology practice. I've heard that they are the only urologists in San Bernardino County who accept MediCare. So, unlike the other rater, I do not mind waiting a half-hour to be called. Dr. Lama saved my life by diagnosing an enlarged prostate via a simple DRE when I happened to be seeing him for an unrelated matter, when my primary care physician had not noticed my enlarged prostate by DRE even though he also knew my PSA had tripled. After the lab tests came in, it was obviously hard for him to tell me I had cancer. Dr. Lama is a personable and thorough urologist and urologic surgeon, whose surgery skills have benefitted my wife as well. He works hard for his patients.
