I had a high risk multiple gestation pregnancy in 2014. I was hospitalized at 33weeks pregnant for preterm labor. She was a great provider until that point. She induced me at 34weeks which was fine. My body wasn't doing very well. The problem was that after inducing me at 6am all the while insisting on me getting an epidural and when I refused she turned to my husband and worked him over telling him it could be the difference in saving the life of our daughters even though I explicitly said no. My husband begged me so I did it for his peace of mind. Afterwards she did not check my dilation or in with me at all! At 9:30AM my daughter was born UNASSISTED and was found under the blanket not making a sound, luckily breathing. Once the heartbeat went absent from the monitor THE NURSE came in only to find my daughter, not saying anything other than "oh! Baby!" Then running out of the room sound the alarm for a rapid response! Dr. Raj did not show up at all! Another woman came in who I had never met before to deliver my other daughter who had not been breathing and was purple. Due to the lack care I received from this doctor I developed pneumonia just days after I delivered along with SEPSIS within my uterus!! Luckily my primary doctor performed my 6-weeks post check where she discovered this infection! Dr. Raj let me be discharged with high blood pressure without any medication to help it. I still can't understand how she can even be allowed to practice medicine! Image as a mother of newborn twins plus two other children I postponed my postpartum check as many new mothers do? All the while with that infection within my uterus! Sepsis is one of the top three reasons for maternal mortality!

Long story short, I would never recommend Dr. Raj to anyone that views child birth as an intimate experience. She became frustrated anytime I strayed from the "usual" path of the way she is use to doing things, and she bullied me into being induced which I was adamant from the beginning I didn't want to do. She scolded me while giving me a physical exam, which left me feeling violated and emotionally incapacitated. I was a week over due, but wanted to hivey bost a littleore time before rushing to induce. She told me that I can find another Dr, or be induced the next day. If I refused induction she said I had to do a fetal heart monitoring test before I could leave her office. She made me feel as though I was putting my baby in danger if I didn't induce immediately. This was my 3rd pregnancy and I always went over my due date. My pregnancy was text book, and my baby was doing great. No issues. I left her office crying, and arrived to the hospital crying. This was not how I envisioned bringing my child into the world. I was robbed of my experience. It was devastating for me as this was my last baby. If you like a dr who takes charge and enforces their will, then this may be the dr for you. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I truly wish I had found a different Dr.

Staff is great. Dr. Raj treats you like a person not a chart. Never have to wait long in the waiting room.

Bedside manner of an ogre and the compassion for her patients I would expect from Gunny from Full Metal Jacket.
