I had a high risk multiple gestation pregnancy in 2014. I was hospitalized at 33weeks pregnant for preterm labor. She was a great provider until that point. She induced me at 34weeks which was fine. My body wasn't doing very well. The problem was that after inducing me at 6am all the while insisting on me getting an epidural and when I refused she turned to my husband and worked him over telling him it could be the difference in saving the life of our daughters even though I explicitly said no. My husband begged me so I did it for his peace of mind. Afterwards she did not check my dilation or in with me at all! At 9:30AM my daughter was born UNASSISTED and was found under the blanket not making a sound, luckily breathing. Once the heartbeat went absent from the monitor THE NURSE came in only to find my daughter, not saying anything other than "oh! Baby!" Then running out of the room sound the alarm for a rapid response! Dr. Raj did not show up at all! Another woman came in who I had never met before to deliver my other daughter who had not been breathing and was purple. Due to the lack care I received from this doctor I developed pneumonia just days after I delivered along with SEPSIS within my uterus!! Luckily my primary doctor performed my 6-weeks post check where she discovered this infection! Dr. Raj let me be discharged with high blood pressure without any medication to help it. I still can't understand how she can even be allowed to practice medicine! Image as a mother of newborn twins plus two other children I postponed my postpartum check as many new mothers do? All the while with that infection within my uterus! Sepsis is one of the top three reasons for maternal mortality!
