I felt I was abandoned. After she did not answer a phone call and an email in which I requested a follow up appointment, I found another doctor. When my new doctor called her and asked her what had happened, she had no real answer. At one point, she said I may have owed her money. If I did, she certainly did not bill me for it. I couldn’t do her billing for her. Very disappointing experience overall. Silver lining is that I found a physician that actually takes their work seriously. Loeb seemed to be more interested in the monetary aspect of each appointment. It’s reasonable to expect payment. It’s not reasonable to be a flake and ignore a patient reaching out for care; especially one that has no outstanding payments. At the very least, a doctor has a responsibility to end care in a professional and ethical manner. Not responding is unacceptable and it’s does not meet the basic standard of care. I would recommend another physician, even if they charge more, which is unlikely given her high per hourly charge. She acted like she was doing me a favor by charging $350/ hr, which she says was a discounted rate. Truly disheartening experience. However, as written earlier, I did eventually find an extremely knowledgeable and caring doctor, with a significantly higher standard for patient care.

Dr Loeb is a wonderful therapist. She is compassionate, insightful, caring, intelligent and offers very constructive ways of approaching a problem. I am grateful for the opportunity of working with her.

Very helpful, sophisticated, insightful. Expensive and not on any panels, which is a shame. If you can afford good treatment I highly recommend her.
