Visits to him are stressful because he seems way to busy and reschedule appts. Often. His ultrasounds are out of town and is a drive to go to and are not convenient for patients. The techs there do not give good photos and it's uncomfortable having strangers it seems checking you for a hour and not your actual doc. Procedures seem to be done on their convience and not patients. If you have concerns or disagree on something to do you are not compliant as a patient and told to switch Dr's no matter how far along you are when told he will listen to your concerns. Does not consider patient can be stressed and some testing causes more stress and burden than helpful and does not want to work with patient according to their convience. Just another number I feel and is on a strict routine.

I've been seeing Dr Holt for 3 years now, for well woman exams and for OB. He is simply the best OBGYN i've seen. hes very caring and attentive. He is interested in what you have to say and addresses all you concerns. He also makes you feel comfortable, which is a huge deal for a male OBGYN. I will continue to go to him for as long as he stays in Ennis! which i hope is forever!

Dr. Holt is the most caring doctor I have ever seen. I went to him for my very first pregnancy and he assured me that I would be cared for to the best of his ability. He was correct. His persona is confident, personable, and honest. He even referred me to an outside specialist to receive the best possible care for ultrasounds. I find this to be honorable because I'm sure that I'm receiving the best care available in the area. I believe his interests are truly the best interest of his patients. It was obvious to me that he attempts to make his patients comfortable and satisfied with his care and service. Additionally, my experience with the office staff was pleasant. They were knowledgeable and informative. It was clear they were trying to give me the most information possible regarding my insurance coverage and health benefits. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and I have a beautiful, healthy baby as a result.

The worst doctor I've ever had!!!!! I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant and one of the hardest working women you would ever meet. I work at a warehouse for 12hrs 3 days out of the week. I lift boxes and unload trucks. I went to Dr. Holt with paper work from my job that allows me to leave work early if i need to due to any pains or stress from my pregnancy. He tells me that he would not sign the papers, because it was too early for me to go on leave. This tells me that he never read the papers before he even said no. I explain to him that the papers aren't for me to go on leave, just papers that allows more to go home if i need to take it easy while I'm pregnant. He tells me that being pregnant is not a disease, and there is nothing wrong with me that i can't do my job. So basically, i need to be bleeding and on bed rest first. I told him I'll find a new doctor. I wasn't just looking for an excuse to leave work.

My visit was such a waste of time and money. The staff told me something completely different from what the doctor told me. If the staff had just been on the same page as the doctor I could have saved money and time wasted here. Definitely would not recommend this doctor.

Went to Doctor Holt one time and was very disappointed in the care I received. First of all the office failed to mention to me as I made my appointment with them over the phone that they do not allow kids in their office! NOT even in the waiting area! So I had my kids with me the day of the appointment and they made them wait in the hallway outside for the long period of time I had to wait to even see the doctor! Secondly this doctor does not have in-office ultrasounds and pretty much forces all of his patients to go all the way into downtown Dallas to get ultrasounds and gave me no other option when I asked if I could maybe go next door to the hospital for an ultrasound instead of traveling all the way to Dallas. Lastly, the doctor spent maybe 5 minutes if that with me, did not give me a chance to ask questions and seemed to rush out of the room. Very bad experience and would not recommend for anyone to use this health care provider.

Dr Holt is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He's friendly, kind and really listens to you. His staff is very nice and I always feel comfortable. There have been a few occasions where I've had to wait past my appt time because Dr Holt was in the middle of a delivery or c-section that ran over. But that sort of thing is out of his control and his staff always lets you know asap and gives you the option to reschedule if you don't want to wait. I was so nervous about finding a new OB in the middle of my pregnancy after moving and I'm so glad I found Dr Holt. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Holt and staff was amazing and wonderful! There was only one time that I had to wait quite a while past my appointment time. I had previously has a stroke after the birth of my child in 2005 and was very nervous about changing physicians but Dr. Holt was an amazing choice and I could not of been more happy and at ease even with my previous OB Doctor. I would recomend him to anyone!
