This doctor lacks bedside manners, decorum, and tact. Her impersonal skills are far and few between. While describing my condition for fibroids, she referred to them as little aliens in my uterus! Who does that! You are better off examining yourself! Don't waste your money or insurance. She is entirely pre-occupied with attempting to provide care for patients, inmates (yes, I said inmates in the waiting room also), and teaching upcoming medical students "the ropes." She will allow them to perform procedures on you as well, unless you state otherwise. Imagine more doctors like her! SMH! I will be canceling my yearly exam for next year on tomorrow!

I waited hours to be seen. The doctor acted like I knew nothing and explained nothing. Didn't even call to inform me I had an abnormal biopsy-just sent a letter to my parents?! Horrible physician. Horrible bedside manner. Completely unpersonable. I now drive two hours to see a different doc.

Office staff treated me like I was uneducated and did not explain prodedures well and I had to ask a second time about what to expect with my ablation procedure. (this was in the covington va office) Ablation was preformed in WV office and I waited for a hour and 30 minutes after the drugs were administered for the procedure. It was very painful and not the piece of cake she said it would be. I should have been put under anisthesia for this operation. I will not go back to this doctor again.

The staff was horrible and did not follow HIPAA guidelines. I could hear the staff talking about patients personal history out in the waiting room. Dr. Perkins was not very personable and did not explain procedures or results very well, and was not compassionate. I will never step foot in this office again.
