Dr.Osteria used to be a fairly good orthopedic surgeon if you wanted to chance having surgery at Harford Memorial. He has become a pain management specialist in orthopedic issues. I can think of 5 yrs ago, he was still knowledgeable and fairly compassionate. He spoke about the conferences that he attended to keep up to date about pain management. What has happened to him and the staff he has? I think he needs to read online from the American Pain Society and maybe he can refresh some of his memory and therefore his ability to treat pts the correct way. He doesn't seem to be focused and his 'nurse' is supposed to take care of things which end up never getting done. He no longer shows any compassion. Does he have any? Good question. He has made a mockery of pain management specialists and has become lazy. I think his time is up. Who needs a doc like this? We can get over the meds cause I know that is why people go to him. I rate him at a 2/10 and think he should hang up his stethoscope and close his doors.
