Excellent care. Professional. I have seen this doctor many times for a variety of skin problems and always received the help I needed.

This doctor does not listen to the patient's needs. I switched dermatologists because I moved to the area. I liked the treatment I was on and only wanted a refill. She changed my treatment entirely. My condition got worse and even though I told her twice, she would not change it back to what I was taking before. Even though my previous dermatologist is 2 hours away, I will be going back to them. Also, I had to wait 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment which messed up the rest of my day and she takes few insurance policies. Do not waste your time with this doctor.

Have seen Dr. Newton for 2 years. Set an appointment in august and earliest date the office could arrange was Dec 23. Never received reminder communication for appointment. I missed the 8am appointed and contacted the office. Nurse was rude and stated next available was in march next year. I asked if I could come later that day and then she tells me of a 1145am cancellation she can schedule me only 3.5 hrs after missed appointment. I provided my insurance info upon arrival and communicated my change of insurance. After procedure the staff then communicated my insurance is out of network. I let them know had she told me it was out of network I would not have had procedure done because of cost. I requested to speak to the doctor. Was told isn't available. I explained I would wait. Was told would be 45min and was basically forced to leave. I was certainly not rude or looking for a freebee. In fact I explained I could pay my $50 copay and wanted to out something with the Dr. I had 3 $20's and the nurse kept my $10. I was made to feel like she had to collect all $60. I was afraid to ask for the $10 change. Dr. Is good in her field, however after my experience with the staff lack of communication and poor attitude I will never go back even if my insurance was in network. Even while waiting staff is speaking to each other harshly about earlier patients. Why is the staff so rude, unhelpful, and lacking compassion?

I have seen this dermatologist for over 15 years and she has always been kind gentle, knowledgeable. Her staff are nice people and take time when you need it. The other comment on this site must be a person looking for free care and is probably a freeloader. They should go get their Obama care doc. You pay for what you get. I will keep my highly trained courteous physician.

This physician will except very few insurance companies and declines all medicare insurance. Obviously she is only in it for the money. When I called her office I was told point blank that she will accept nothing less then her standard billable rate and the person who answered the phone was quite rude when asked why she doesn't accept medicare. Physicians like her are why we need a health care bill.
