Dr. Shpitalnik is the best doctor I have ever met. She doesn't just prescribe you medications, she actually listens to what you are saying and then decided what is the best course of action. Dr. Shpitalnik try's to help you with therapy fist before she give you meds. I would recomend her to any of my family members in a heart bit.

Dr. Shpitalnik was a great doctor for me as far as helping me find the right medication for me. But I missed an appt with her (I am a full-time working single mom - I'm not trying to make excuses, but I simply forgot). I was fully willing to pay a missed appt charge, but instead she simply dropped me as a patient - while I am on medications that you can't just stop suddently. But that's exactly what I was left to do, and I'm struggling badly right now. As a psychiatrist, she should know this would happen and it's very dangerous to a person's health and well-being, and I think it was unfair. Shame on her for being so uncompassionate. I do not recommend her, because while you think you might not ever miss an appt, but never say never because things come up and you just might miss one - and she might leave you hanging out to dry as she did me. :(

I've seen many psychiatrists over the past years, but Dr. Shanna Shpitalnik was the worst and biggest waste of time. Shpitalnik does not listen well, jumps to conclusions and makes hasty decisions without having the slightest hint of what the patient might think. If it wasn't her way then it was the highway! As I got to know Shpitalnik, the more I realized she was just using me as a guinea pig; feeding medication that she only guessed might work. I finally called it quits when she admitted she didn’t want to help me anymore. There are many other doctors out who care a great more deal for our lively hood and really want to help us. The reason for posting such a discerning comment is because I don't want people to suffer like I did. Don't get mixed up with Zhanna Shpitalnik as a bit more research or a recommendation from your general practitioner will save you much unwanted pain and grief.
