I recently had eye surgery with Dr. Aran. It was two operations, in one removal of a cataract, the other to correct a deteriorating macular condition. Because of health issues I was considered high risk and had put off the surgery until my eyesight gradually diminished to the point that many of life’s visual pleasures were no longer available to me.
A few weeks after my operations on a beautiful Sunday morning, my family came outside to have morning coffee in our patio only to find me sitting and staring at the floor with tears streaming down my cheeks. Alarmed, they inquired: “what’s wrong?”. I pointed to the floor where a line of ants had industriously started a project, paused and answered; “The ants! I can see them, I can see the ants, I haven’t seen them in years.”
So how do I thank a wonderful Doctor who with care, empathy and compassion used his, skills, talents and experience to give me back the sight I so missed? Thank you, Doc, you have no equal in what you do and because of that I now enjoy seeing even the smallest things in life.

Doctors services were horrible!!!! Only wants to charge insurance my family member had the retinal in bad shape sent home with visine no medication,.,,ridiculous!!! never again the doctor didn't even see her... hard to find a good doctor now n days some people write because of a bad experience i write because of the quality of service and how unsafe it is to go home with a bad eye all because the doctor did not Care about his patients. For Elderly patients it's very easy for doctors to take advantage of their situation, and the elderly are the ones in most need of good quality service from doctors.
