Terrible receptionist. Told me that he is everybody at the clinic and that I couldn't speak to the doctor. I needed to and the receptionist repeatedly hung up on me.

Her husband is very disrespectful, too playful, doesn’t listen,. For example I call in today to get appointment so I can get 5 of my blood pressure refilled and trying explain what’s going on with my blood pressure and insurance. Instead of listening Mr. Mitchell decided to play a gambling game on the phone instead of trying to understand what my situation was. I was literally calling for help not to be belittled, played with, or treated as my heart condition didn’t matter. Money wasn’t a problem but the disrespect and not helping your patient was the problem. You have to listen to a person before assuming anything. Then we exchanged words back and forth. Then I kept calling back asking who can I report this office too. There is no way anyone in medical field should talk to any person/patient over the phone like he did. All I did was all for help and got hurt even worse. Key thing is to Listen!!! I never in my 36 years been mistreated by any doctor til Now!!!

I went to Dr. Priscilla B. Durand-Mitchell just to have a new primary care Dr close to my new job in Atmore.I work in Finance and Finalize Contracts.I work very hard and have severe ADHA. Have my meds under control and loved my previous primary Dr. that was understanding,did proper drug screens and was extremely thorough. Dr. Mitchell argued with me about my ADHD medication my very accredited Physician prescribed me.Dr. Mitchell talked to me like I was STUPID and NEVER said a kind word even when I started crying and asked her if we got off on the wrong foot.She BELITTLED me when I asked her OPINION on replacement hormones even after I explained to her that I had a complete hysterectomy at 38 & less than a year before this visit,explained that I had a blood disorder that caused me to be unable to take replacement hormones because of my blood thickening and the risk of heart attack and stroke.Then she was eager to prescribe me narcotic pain meds that I DIDN'T even ask for.Not going back

Horrible! Waited for 4 hours to be seen even though I had an appointment and no one was in the waiting room. I wanted her to freeze off a wart from my young daughter's hand, but she refused to do it because she asked my daughter if she wanted her to do it, and off course my daughter said no. Since when is it the child's decision what medical things should be done? A few weeks after we leave, I get a huge bill for "hand surgery" even though nothing was done to her hand that day. And my son was there for a check up. She looked in his ear, said he had a lot of ear wax, used a plastic stick thing to get it out and then sends me a bill for a couple hundred dollars and called it "ear, nose, throat surgery". Her practice is a joke. She makes it obvious she does not care about her patients or the fact that she routinely charges for procedures that were never done. Do not go there, and DO NOT trust her with your children's health!!!

She spends her whole time in exam room with her nose stuck in laptop compputer. Never eye to eye communication. I'm finding a new Dr.
