I had a dental issue during COVID-19 quarantine and Dr. O'Neill spoke with me on the phone several times and was able to convey ways that would relieve my issue until he had adequate PPE to see me in the office. At that time he addressed the problem and it was resolved. I went back for my routine cleaning and exam in July, when the office was up and running. I was impressed with all the Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) installed for the patient and staff protection that goes over and above of CDC regulations. I felt very comfortable and safe in this dental office. Thank you, Dr. O'Neill, for your concern in the care of your patients and staff! I know I greatly appreciated it!!!

For almost two years now our entire family goes to Dr. O'Neill. My husband knocked out a tooth playing hockey and found their practice in an online local search and couldn't be happier. Prior to this appointment he hadn't been to the dentist in over 13 years. They worked with him until all of his teeth were fixed, filled and cleaned. Now he makes sure to keep up with regular 6 month cleanings. It's like visiting family when you go to this office. They have a wonderful staff that make you feel eased and relaxed as well as confident in the knowledge that the survive you receive will always be excellent. I left the office today with my 7 year old who has just finished having a cavity filled and she asked if we could come back on Saturday and just hang out! If you're looking for a new dentist don't look any further. You won't be sorry!

Dr O'Neill's office is exceptional at accommodating my crazy work schedule. I commute into the city and often don't get home until well after many offices are closed. They are open late and I schedule all my appointment after 7PM. Dr. O'Neill does the best work, the hygienists are friendly and thorough, the price is very reasonable, and Marian at the front desk is the best at working around my limited availability. I would highly recommend this practice, it's perfect for the entire family.

I first met John (Dr. O'Neill) on the baseball field while he was coaching our boys, but didn't know him on a professional level until my son was hit in the face with a baseball and needed some emergency treatment. On the spot, John opened up his office (on a Sunday) and was absolutely amazing at treating and calming down my very worked up son-- and wife. He immediately treated the situation with tremendous results, and we have been patients at the office ever since. Whether it's the routine cleanings or most recently my multiple implant bridgework, John is truly an amazing dentist who takes great pride in his work and has a great relationship with his patients. Bad luck may have brought us to his practice, but in the long run we found the perfect family dentist.

I have lived in River Edge for most of my adult life, and I have been taking my entire family to Dr. O'Neill since I moved here. He is excellent with the kids and puts more emphasis on good home care and regular cleanings to prevent more major work from being needed. The front desk does a good job of accommodating our schedule and tries to make it so that all the kids can get their cleanings done at the same time (the office is open late some nights which really helps). Overall we are very satisfied and recommend Dr. O'Neill whenever somebody asks about a dentist.

Dr. O'Neill is caring and knowledgeable, truly dedicated, both for adults and pediatric population. Our family used his services for over 10 years. Sadly, we had to switch to another dentist in the area because the staff (Dr. O'Neill's wife at the front desk) is difficult to deal with. There were no extraordinary issues but the way they were handled were just not worth the hassle.

I went to Dr. O'Neill to have a deep filling done. He drilled the area & put in several pins & the required almagam filling. However, it remains very sensitive to temperature & pieces of the metal come loose every time I clean & brush my teeth. Also, he operates with another dentist, elderly, who is retired. This elderly dentist was asked to look at my mouth by Dr. O'Neill & he tried to convince me to get $3,000.00 worth of upper crowns done even though I did not need them. My opinion of the place is "DECEITFUL" & "DISHONEST" dental practices plus "POOR" & "INFERIOR" treatment which falls apart.
