Dr. Taylor is okay at prescribing, but bottom line, his fees are insultingly astronomical. He will literally sit there explaining studies and science so you never get a regular follow up visit, always the max time. He will make an active effort to stretch it out, try him if you dont believe me. He recently raised his prices again, first time intake is $575 and follow ups are $550. Just to prescribe you some meds. There are plenty of competent doctors in the Morristown area who are not just out for the money. I was not happy and felt ripped off.

Dr. Taylor has changed our lives. He is knowledgeable, caring, and an expert in his field. By far the best psychiatrist we have ever seen.

A wonderful doctor who listens very carefully to me. I notice that when he asks certain questions, he is actually also suggesting I try certain new behaviors that may eventually help me to feel better. Although some of his decisions about medicines that I should try or change can sometimes seem complicated, he tries very hard to explain what he hopes will get better, how long it might take and how I will notice it. I feel safe and always hopeful when I see him.
I'm so often surprised how quickly the time passes when I've been talking to him.

This doctor was never on schedule. His services were not helpful due to a misdiagnosis. Due to the misdiagnosis, I feel he is not knowledgeable in his field.

After the tragic death of my younger brother plunged me into a serious depression, I struggled through 8 years of mediocre psychiatrists and psychotherapists. A friend recommended Dr. Taylor, I made an appointment, and I've never looked back. Dr. Taylor brings his A game to every session, and so do I: He consistently inspires that level of effort. I have made incalculable progress and feel blessed to have found such a gifted and compassionate physician. For the record, I am not a friend or a family member - just a very grateful patient.

Dr. Taylor is outstanding! He has helped me through some of the hardest moments/year of my life. He is thoughtful, protective, very intelligent in both medical and practical matters. I've always trusted him with my most personal issues and never once had an issue with him. He's accessible and responsive to my needs. I'd recommended him to anyone seeking pschyaictric assistance. His office manager is also great.

Dr. Taylor has the "bedside manner" of a person who very clearly enjoys ONLY a strict routine office visit - he is not inclined to go the extra mile, ever! I have come to fully understand that there is a stark and justifiable distintion between the role of a therapist and that of a psychiatrist. He is over-priced and looks at you like he is watching paint dry. In the end, I think he belongs in a lab coat or hash it out in some silly Ivy League think tank living in the theory world, pumping out some medical journal pieces.

Doctor Taylor is a very good doctor, but is completely unaffordable. There is never a set time, so you have no idea what the cost of the visit will be until you go to pay or are billed. He doesn't return phone calls. Getting a refill is impossible at the pharmacy unless you have an existing appointment. it's all about money. It's really ashame that when you go in for help, the only thing that goes thru your mind is how much is this going to cost. Everyone has a choice and my choice is to stop seeing him. There are many good doctors out there who call you back and respond to the pharmacy. I guess if he has patients who can afford to pay his fees, more power to him.
