Dr. Syed conducted himself EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONALLY when he met with my husband, my daughter, and me to go over follow up results of an extended EEG after her initial partial onset seizure. Since this time, I have discovered many, many other women who have had similar experiences. He acts as a family/child psychologist, which he is not, and makes judgments based on very little evidence, often referring to his culture and religion (and even referring specifically). I do not believe that this is legal and has no place in America's hospitals. If I am called upon to do so, I can get together more recollections of similar behavior from Dr. Syed from other women. Do not go to him and do not trust your children to him! If we had taken his advice, we would never had known of a malformation in our daughter's brain. He did not order an MRI because he thought she made up her seizures. He also did not allow me to speak in the follow up meeting and explain. BEWARE!
