She is a calm and understanding doctor who was so helpful with my daughter. Easy to talk to

I visited Dr. Relja from age 14-19. She was absolutely amazing. I came from a family who didn’t show much support regarding mental health, and Dr. Relja became someone who I felt extremely comfortable confiding in and talking to. She had answers for everything, even when I felt hopeless. Wonderful at prescribing the proper medication and cautions patients of risks/side effects while also leaving room to keep searching for the right one. I would highly recommend Dr. Relja to any youth or adolescent, and she is also LGBTQ+ friendly. The only downside to having such a great psychiatrist is that she is in high demand, which meant she wasn’t always super easily accessible, nonetheless her assistant reassured me that they would fit me in as soon as they could. I’d still be seeing her today if it weren’t for the age restriction with public health and having to switch to an adult psych! Thank you Dr. Relja for many years of support and getting me on the right track. I don’t know where I’d be today.

I had a very unpleaseant experience with another psychiatrist and was very nervous for this appointment. Dr. Relja blew me away with her compassion and kindness. I always left her office feeling better and feeling so much more hopeful. She doesn't prescribe meds and be done with you, she continues to see you and follow up to ensure you are on the proper course of treatment. We are so lucky to have her in our city.

By far the best psychiatrist in Fredericton! Dr. Relja has helped me for many years. She is patient with me and so easy to talk to. Dr. Relja is kind, caring, and compassionate. She really takes the time to sit down and talk with me. I would highly recommend her.

This is an example of someone doing what they we put on this earth to do. She is compassionate, so knowledgeable and always includes my wife and I when she speaks to our children. I want to hug her everytime she has a session with my kids. Example: as parents we want to be able to fix. Our children, like when they get a scrape we can clean it bandage it and go for some ice cream. With mental health we can't do anything like that for our children, and we feel so helpless as parents, Dr Relja can help fix these issues and. It gives us a chance to have our children get better and give us hope once again. We all love her!

i think this doctor was ok she did not really speak to me much and I did not have a good relationship with her. Was my overall experience good no, just got the doctor for me.

Could go on and on about how AMAZING Dr Relja is! She is very knowledgeable and has helped me through times where I felt hopeless and down in the dumps. She always takes the time to explain everything to me and she’s like a grandmother, so caring, kind, sweet and so much more. Whenever i see her, I leave her office feeling better than when I walked in and she does her absolute best to help anyone who steps foot in the Victoria health centre, hospital and her private practice. She follows up after every new medication to find the best fit for you and works with you even if you’re against taking certain medications! She genuinely cares about every patient and tries her very best. Best psychiatrist out there

Dr. Relja is the best thing to ever happen to me she cares so genuinely for her patients; she doesn't force you into medication when she thinks it's needed. She will suggest it and if you say no she'll understand but will explain why she believes it would be good for you. Another amazing thing to note about her is she genuinely cares about her patients and isn't just in it for the money. From personal experience she will be worried about you if you tell her you have thoughts of suicide or self harm. She will do everything she can in her power to get you away from those triggers and make sure you will be okay.

Dr. Relja is amazing. She shows genuine care and compassion for her patients. I am very fortunate to have her as my psychiatrist and she is just a genuine human being.
