This physician is a pill-pusher, plain and simple. The patients here that rate him as good have been seeing him for years because he keeps them supplied with narcotics. Every day, his waiting room is full of regulars, who will wait for hours and hours for their prescriptions. He has been in trouble with the state board before for improperly dispensing controlled substances, as well, but probation expired. His office is filthy. The way that he gets away with writing so many controlled prescriptions is that he has a majority of the town hooked, including several law enforcement officials. At one point, he had his 5 year old child delivering narcotics to his wife in the afternoons, as their home is 3 blocks from the office. He would give the child a cideo cassette case (filled with narcotics he had diverted from other patients), and tell him to "take this home to mommy).

Takes time to listen and asks appropriate questions to reach indepth understanding of problem(s). Seems to really care about his patients. Prescribes appropriate meds and does not over medicate.
