I had labrum surgery on September 2010 with Dr Andrews.. I flew from NJ because the world wide reputation he has build. Unfortunately, my surgery did not fare well.. First, i had a bad reaction to one medicine at the hospital (nice staff overall). After 3 mon, I noticed that my arm was still stiff and flew to see him. After 5mon, i could feel that the surgery was not succesfull. I could tell my labrum aching like before. New MRI showed partial retear and impingment. Now a surgeon of his caliber, should know better that after labrum surgery, he should also trim out the acromion. And now i still have the labrum tear and rotator cuff impingment. His physical rehab is state of the art, i was asked to stop there 2 days after surgery which i think is too soon. But i followed his protocol to the teeth. I didnt lift anything heavy for the 3 months so i am pretty sure is the surgery that was at fault. I had so many expectations and it let me down. .not sure if i want to do it over.

Without question, THE best doctor to see for knne injuries or surgery. He is extremely down-to-earth, takes time to listen and understand you as a patient, and makes you feel VERY confident that whatever the issue, he's seen it before, and will handle it expertly. Treats all of us "common people" the same as he does high-profile athletes - with a personal touch that is second to none. His staff is the best I have ever seen or been around; knowledgeable, professional, a sense of humor when needed, and VERY caring. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Andrews and the Andrews Institute. First rate, all the way around!!

Dr. Andrews repaired a torn and retracted biceps tendon in my husband's left (dominant) arm in 1990. Excellent pre, peri and post op care. 100% function regained. Truly the best without the offensive ego display of some gifted surgeons. Highly recommend.

Did a distal biceps tendon re-attachment. Most orthopedic surgeons I contacted had done very few of these. Dr Andrews had done hundreds. I followed their rehab instructions meticulously, and I had VERY little pain and healed very quickly. They are totally professional and run a really tight ship. I felt very confident throughout the process.

Arguably the best orthopedic surgeon in the US or maybe anywhere on this planet. He performed a revision ACL surgery on my knee and did wonderful job. It was my fourth surgery on my knee (first by him) and he took great care of it. He spent a lot of time both before and after the surgery and made sure that everything was taken care of. I believe he is still the go-to doctor for most sports stars in the US.

Dr. Andrews has performed two total knee replacements on my wife which has given her excellent service for almost twenty years. We were told that the length of service for a knee replacement was about ten to twelve years. She has exceeded this and is still trouble free. He has also done both hip fractures which has also given her excellent mobility, including ball room dancing. We would highly recommend him to anyone needing this kind of service. We would give him the highest rating possible because of his work and reputation. Thanks for letting us express our opinion.

He has seen two of my children. One he did an amazing knee surgery on and the other he decided not to do surgery on yet. He said to try Physical Therapy first and my son's shoulder has healed without surgery scarring to worry about. Also, after my daughter's terrible knee injury he told us to never take away her dreams. He said that HOPE is the best medicine
