Dr. Dhalla took over for my previous doctor. I had to switch doctors because of the incompetency of his practice. He clearly told us that he doesn't care about past diagnoses (such as cancer and heart surgery), he was only our doctor from that day onward and would only address issues from that day on. They will book 3-5 people in at a time, make them check in and wait for a couple hours to find out the doctor won't be in and all those people can talk to the nurse instead. I have always wondered how OHIP was billed. I honestly don't understand how this man still has his license to practice. I pray more current patients take this seriously and file reports for his poor actions.

Absolutely pissed off and doesn't even know the rules of the college of physicians. Took over for my late doctor, dr. Wolos, god rest his soul. Well anyone that came from dr. Wolos, your records didn't follow. I already complained to the college of physicians but everyone else needs to follow suit and hold him accountable....30 years of records are gone for me .... absolutely pissed

Should not be a doctor. Lacks respect for patients. Does not talk to his patients with care. Treats us like we are stupid especially when we ask a question. Not professional at all. When my sons tell me that he creeps them out then that for me is enough to say it’s time to find a new doctor. I myself have never been seen by him as I am very uncomfortable around him. He never returns calls.

He has no respect for his patients. Keeps everyone waiting over an hour. As I’m sitting in the waiting room for over an hour I could hear all the patients complaining about his attitude and lack of respect

Ive been a patient for 15 years at this office when the previous doctor was practicing here. I just met Dr.Dhalla today for the first time, and unfortunately, I will not be going back again. Every question I asked, I felt stupid for asking because he was making me feel like I should know all of the answers. He prescribed me a new medication and told me zero information about it. I waited in the waiting room for 45 minutes with my bored three year old, then was seen by the doctor for a total of two minutes. He was extremely rude and arrogant the entire appointment. I cried the whole way home. I have never been spoken to by a doctor that way in my life. The receptionist was a complete witch from the time I called to make the appointment to seeing her in office. I felt like I was a burden on all of them. Like they were so annoyed that I was even there. I didn’t feel welcomed or even liked what so ever.

After switching from Anatasio to Dhalla my family wasn’t happy. And after seeing these reviews it makes sense. I started getting migraines frequently and wanted to have it be looked into. I mentioned it my be something to do with my birth control. I walked out of the appt with no prescription or knowledge on how to fix it. I got told Tylenol’s are fine to take as if I wasn’t doing that already and he moved the conversation into him booking me an appt for the IUD I was switching too-which was already in the works with my gyro. My dad went in to ask if he’s ok to return to the gym and he came back with 3 pill bottles and an inhaler plus an appt with a cardiovascular specialist. He was just getting over a bad cold/flu. The specialist laughed at him when he went in. We are all in the process of switching doctors.

My sentiments have been the same as everyone else OHIP is definitely being ripped off by this incompetent doctor. How he got his license is a mystery. We are looking for another doctor and will be there in July. We miss Anastatio he was the best.

I was a patient of dr Anastasio for years before he took over the office. This is honestly the worst doctor I’ve ever been seen by. Completely negligent on all ends and I would really like to know how he obtained and holds his position as a physician. He is a joke. I’ve recently switched family doctors for many reasons, but mainly because he takes no interest in the well being of me as a patient. Here’s one of many examples - After pushing him to see a specialist about pains in my lower abdomen I was finally sent for an ultrasound and was able to access my results online within days after the testing. I waited weeks to hear from his office and finally I scheduled my own appointment with him to discuss the results which I already had seen showing a cyst had developed in my kidney. This was very concerning to me since he had no intention of even contacting me to let me know, and when I finally saw him he claimed it’s nothing to worry about or anything worth looking into any further. After this unsettling meeting I had a second opinion at a walk-in clinic that said this definitely should be looked at further and monitored regularly to ensure it doesn’t grow, so this is proof that he cares nothing about his patients unless he can write them a prescription and send them on their way. This man should be stripped of his license in my honest opinion, but it’s good to see that I’m not the only one that sees him as a hole in the healthcare system.
