I was a new patient and asked to come in a half hour early to fill out paperwork. Including the half hour, I waited 1 1/2 hours. The doctor came in and spent a total of 7 minutes. Then he told me to see my primary care doctor. Uh, that was who told me to see a podiatrist. Maybe he wasn't a podiatrist? Will not be going back.

I visited this podiatrist 3 times. I originally choose Dr. Modlin because he was honored with the Top 10 Doctors in Annapolis., MD. that year. Toe nail removal. He was GREAT! Saw him again.. He was Rude, running late, over an hour, very arrogant, abrupt, and rough on my toe. Well, maybe a bad day. I tried again. This time he was more rude,running much later,abrupt, and very rough on my toe. HE GRABBED MY TOE. NEVER GAVE IT ANY NUMBING and went to town. Hurt like the dickens!! His nose was running with a lot of sniffing. He did not have nor did he retrieve a handkerchief. He didn't apologize for his situation. Maybe a mask would have nice! I will NEVER RETURN. Prior to this last visit I had recommended him to my friend. I had excused my 2nd visit as a bad day. I called to tell her not to go and I was to late. She told me he was so late, she Never did see him, walked out of office after over an hour of waiting. Don't go there! I am looking for another Podiatrist right now.

I could not agree more with the previous reviewer, I wouldn't see any other podiatrist. Dr. Modlin is highly professional, competent, caring, and right on point at every visit. I just had a Bunuionectomy done on my right foot and am recovering. The team at Anne Arundel where I had my surgery done was fantastic! Dr. Modlin explained everything to me, what to expect, how long it will take to recover, etc., and each time I see him he has been right. It is a huge confidence builder to work with someone this good. There is no BS with him, no hand holding. He moves quickly and efficiently, and is very direct. I personally feel he is superb to work with and has given me superb results with my surgery. I know there are a lot of other doctors out there, but this guy will help you and will be right every time. I hope this review helps others as much as Dr. Modlin has helped me.

Dr.Modlin is a unique personality. He is very knowledgeable, competent and thorough. He does move very fast and, in many cases, in and out. If you are looking for a Dr. to hold your hand and try to soothe you, don't go to him. If you want the straight info and delivered directly and with no BS, he's your man. He is very direct and you do wait for him. I've been to other podiatrists and I won't go to any else at this point. He has been right every time I've had a problem.

Dr. Modlin was condescending to me all three times I visited for Plantar Faciitis. He did not remember me from one week to the next, was not prepared for me, had to wait once for 45 minutes, told me I had a low tolerance for pain, said PT would probably not work, rushed me, did not explain the anatomy or the stretches/exercises. He is arrogant and abrupt. I will not go back, nor would I recommend him to anyone.

This man came highly recommended byy doctor. He was just ok. Didn't spend alot of time with me , and he was finishing my sentences. Not sure if he helped me or not , only time will tell. Not sure if I will go back or see someone else if necessary.

I have seen Dr. Modlin for years,he's great. I just had my first surgical procedure, performed at Riva Rd. Surgi Center. Fantastic experience. He is great, treats you as though you may be intelligent and understand and the staff was fantastic. The pre surgical treatment from his office was great, pre certification on insurance was perfect. I am in healthcare and would rate the entire experience as excellent! Kudos!

Dr. Modlin was running a little late (~20 mins) but apologised upon arriving. I actually mentioned his online rating and he was happy to hear it was good and also addressed the comment about him running late and he was trying to find another doctor for the office. He was trying to make up the time but that did not effect his evaluation and treatment for my ankle. He was very knowledgeable and cared greatly for his patients. He spent the time needed to even go over the exercises that I needed to begin my healing process. I was overall very pleased with my visit and would go to him again and would also refer my family and friends to him in the future.

I waited over an hour and there were still other patients in front of me. I left without seeing the doctor. Pleasant office and staff, but who can plan around a 1+ hour wait?

I went to see Dr. Modlin with a very painful sore from a screw that was left over from a previous (years before) surgery. He removed the screw without incident and built orthotics that eased my pain when walking. I was very satisfied with his service and professionalism.
